And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. John 12:3 Reflective Question "To what extent are you attentive to Jesus and what he might be saying to you, whether in or outside BRMC? When you come to Jesus, would you follow Mary s example of not only seeking to have your needs met, but to give Jesus his due in adoration? Prayer Dear Heavenly Father, help me to live my entire life as an act of devotion to you, for you alone deserve all of my praise and worship. Amen. PRAISE Call to Worship from Psalm 103:11-18 [PLEASE STAND] Leader People Leader People Leader People Leader ALL Songs of Praise Mr Edward Ong For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;. as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children s children with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. Amen. Mr Michael Song TIME OF SIMULTANEOUS CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER Shout for joy to the LORD give thanks to Him and praise His name. (Psalm 100:1, 4) Usually the congregation is given a specific time period, with a common theme of petition or supplication. Then all pray aloud at the same time in the power of the Spirit. (United Methodist Book of Worship 1992, pg 446) PRAYER SILENT & INTERCESSORY PRAYER But the LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him. (Habakkuk 2:20) TIME FOR WATCHING THE LORD I will stand at my watch; I will look to see what he will say to me. (Habakkuk 2:1) What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church. This year, they have chosen to designate all funds towards the chronically ill and frail elderly residents of the Bethany Methodist Nursing Home (BMNH) and would like to encourage all church members to contribute towards this worthy cause. The Organising Committee thanks BRMC golfers for their continued support of this annual event. BMNH residents need intensive nursing and medical care. As they are mainly from low-income groups, they are usually not able to pay or can pay very minimal fees.
