This Friday! October 25, 2013 10:00 PM The Overtime Lock-In is this Friday! We ll meet up at the church on Friday night, October 25 at 10:00 p.m. and then head out on the town for some nighttime fun. We will not be returning to the Church until after 5:00 a.m., and will be coming from the Gaw farm where we will be outside the entire time. So.be sure to bring coats, blankets, gloves, scarves, etc. to keep warm while we make s mores and roast hot dogs OUTSIDE! There is still room for more. The cost is only $15! You can get a registration form from Krislyn, AND RETURN IT ASAP! Don t miss out! Breakfast with Santa! Saturday, December 7, 2013 8-10 a.m. We will be making pancakes and crafts. The email will direct you to a sign up for the Chili Supper and Desserts for this event. We hope that this will be an easier and more efficient way of communicating with you about volunteer opportunities for our Youth. Accommodations: Comfort Suites, Murfreesboro Warmth in Winter is a weekend-long retreat that is attended by churches all over Tennessee. It is one of the biggest events we attend outside of our church walls, and it is one of our youth s favorite United Methodist events! The registration form is attached to this newsletter along with the Conference s Young People s Ministry Form this form is required by the conference and will have to be completed for each youth that attends the conference. Warmth In Winter Don t miss your chance to join us for Warmth in Winter 2014. Warmth in Winter is a weekend-long retreat that is attended by churches from all over Tennessee. With sessions led by Eric Samuel Timm, fantastic worship music by Blake and Shanna, and plenty of fun activities, this event is a unique opportunity to worship, learn, and pray along with your peers, not only from our church but from many parts of our state. Warmth in Winter is one of the biggest events we attend outside of our church walls and it is one of our youth s favorite United Methodist events! This year s event takes place at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, TN on January 31-February 2, 2014. We will depart from the Freeman Building at 4:30 PM on Friday, January 31. We will lodge at the Comfort Suites in Murfreesboro, TN, 615.869.0950. Warmth in Winter is an annual event hosted by the Young People s Ministry division of the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church. For full details regarding this year s event, please visit warmthinwinter.com. How to Sign Up Registering for Warmth in Winter is easy! Just fill out the registration form found in this brochure, cut or tear along the dotted line, and return the form to Krislyn or Emily along with your money or check for $60. Deadline for submitting your registration is November 21, 2013. It is crucial that you register on time in order to ensure your spot at Warmth in Winter. Save the rest of this brochure to remind you of the dates of the retreat, what you ll need to bring with you, etc. ***Conference events require an additional form that must be filled out once a year. If we need this form from you, we will e-mail it to you once we receive the registration form found in the brochure.
