The Nature of God By David Butterworth 2/18/2018 Content is available under CC0 1

Overview The amorphous nature of the canvas the universe is projected upon points to a creator who's nature can be partially understood based upon the universe around us. Prefix I have been searching for understanding the nature of the universe all of my life. And I have been successful in my own view even though I have not been successful in sharing these views with the scientific community. I wanted to see the simplicity and grandeur of an overall description of the workings of the universe. But what I saw instead has left me entirely in shock, I saw God. Many people believe that there is a god but exclude this concept from their scientific thinking. God is too big to fit within an orderly universe. However to throw away data that is too great for our minds to comprehend is also not scientific and it limit 2

our ability to understand truth. Now this has not an easy task describing God. It is akin to believing in the Celestial Spheres where the sun, moon, stars moved around the earth and then suddenly seeing the enormous vastness of the universe where the earth has disappeared behind a minor sun in the corner of one of an uncountable number of galaxies. The scope takes your breath away. And this task was tricky too. Many of us take our values and beliefs from our religion. And examining the nature of god forces a reexamining of these beliefs. This is very personal, you have to be sure of your beliefs to let go of them knowing they are going to return stronger, surer and real. But please note this, no one can tell someone else that their beliefs are wrong. That they must do as a part of their own discovery. This was my exploration and you are welcome to join me. But read this with your 3

eyes open it is a dangerous journey. If you don't read the entire document you may be left with misconceptions. The Nature of Reality My view of nature is different than most people. Generally people think that matter occupies space and their interactions delineates the universe. That space and time is simply the desktop, the background where all the interactions take place. My thoughts are different realizing that space and time came from an infinite number of two dimensional singularity derived spaces interacting with each other, the details of which is shown in my paper Theory of Amorphism. (https://goo.gl/72dcrg) All interactions of gravity, electromagnetic and nuclear forces are actually the results of these singularity spaces. Now it's time to go deeper describing the essence, what is behind these spaces since they stretch across an amorphous universe. 4

A starting point that has no space, no time, no energy or form. It is neither point nor universe. It is timeless but it is not frozen. It is something that is the basis of everything and it is not nothing since nothing doesn't exist, it has never existed. And it can obviously take forms of all sorts, still being unchanged, as if there were an infinite supply. It is what is, the basis of everything, time, space, energy, matter, thought, feelings; everything that we know that defines reality. And while we can not directly understand this starting point we can understand aspects of it from the nature of the universe generated from it. For example since space originated from this starting point then from every location in space this essence has the same relationship. It would be omnipresent. And since time originated as well it would be omniscient. And again with energy and matter, omnipotence. These are all attributes that major religions assign to god. 5

The question we need to answer is how can God create the universe and everything in it? And the answer appears to be by taking a three in one nature. By having three views of reality at the same time and having these views react with each other. How can three views create the universe? At one level of thinking all there is is god, there is nothing else. So is this, everything we see around us, a dream? Yes and it's reality too, however we want to define it, it is real. And God is even more real. As we approach this question we must recognize our own limitations. We have concepts that are based upon our daily life which we consider to be the basis of reality; awake/sleep, here/there, now/then, and many others that we might have to let go of to discover the answer of the universe creation. The Persona of God The very essence of what we see around us is design. We call a lot of it natural. The 6

relationship of the circumference of a circle to it's diameter is always a fixed number, Pi. Distances in flat, unmoving fields of reference are always the same. Mathematical operations are always consistent. Objects do not change their form unless it is in a unified consistent manner. The view of the physical universe is the same for all of us. We don't think of these things as being designed but they are. As much as our cell actions, body parts interaction, thought processes. Why? Because there is only God, everything else was added. God is the designer, the mathematician, the artist. This is the very persona of God. So the designer spoke, he is the very words he spoke. All he has to convince is himself that these limitations were true. Himself in all three viewpoints. And he had faith that this was so. Note that I won't imposed a gender identity on God but I have a limitation based upon the language. 7

The Witness There is one who is the witness, who attests, manifests, the universe. He is the essence of everything, he is space, he is time, he is energy, he is thought, he is spirit. He interconnects everything and ties it all together. He is how you can be you and I can be me. The Witness is between the Persona and the Essence in agreement with the faith of the creation. God is one, there is no separation in God. He is witnessing to himself and we who are created can partially see this witness. Our Personal View Everything in the universe has a here and now. Even things that existed in the past, when they existed they had a here and now. The same is true for things that haven't existed yet but will exist. This here and now is life and it is from God. The God that has 8

always existed who is omnipresent. When you think about the past or future that is your mind that is working. The one that was designed by the designer, that is functioning by the witness. It is the very breath of God. Our life is in our movement, our thinking that is happening in the here and now. And you were given freewill, you are not a soulless machine. This choice is our essence and we learn from our interactions. And we call ourselves beings and our choices stem from this definition. Are we our own deity and everything we choice is about us? Or are we a complex servant of God and we have our being with him? This is the choice we all have to make because a lot has been invested in us. And a lot of this investment is suffering. So what happens when we die? The two life forces are separated. We no longer exist in the here and now. We no longer have the movement within, the ability to think or speak. However whatever we've done in life, 9

that still exists. The here and now is forever. Universe Creation When we as a people create a universe we do it by writing books. Nowadays we use computers where programs are run with various actors interacting with each other. We call this a simulation. It uses a set of rules mathematical, logical, syntax in specific order to make functional blocks. These blocks perform the interactions and give life to the program. These computers used to fill whole buildings and required a number of full time operators. I remember using Hollerith keypunch cards to input the computer program back in the 1960's. My cell phone has more computing power than those ancient machines had. Things have really changed in 50 years but the concepts remain the same. God didn't use a computer, he is the essence of everything. But I can see the simulation 10

done in steps. I could see space being defined first, defined by the designer and manifested by the witness by essentially defining and connecting the dots of space by light. The next step is repeat the first step so there would be two universes side by side, one as a reference for the other. This is because of the third step where one of the spaces was drawn together into singularities because everything was built on an infinite scale. I'm sure that it gets even more complicated with energy flows, awareness, beings all based upon taking the simulation and making it more complicated and then rerunning the simulation. Viewing the simulation from each creature's viewpoint, from every tree and bush. Of course this simulation is what we call the universe. This is infinity times infinity, infinite scope and infinite detail. This is why we have a hard time in accepting this concept, it is beyond anything we can accept as truth. But if you reject a truth because you can not 11

understand it then you are in the same class as Pope Urban VIII who put Galileo under house arrest. You not searching for truth, only self serving ambition. What is Our Nature We are a very complicated creation. We may have come from God but we are not God. We can be taken apart. Back in Christmas 2014 I had this thought that I want to share now three years later. I exist. My inside is God's outside. My outside is God's inside. I have only one view of the universe which is what's exterior to me because there is only one God. God has only one inside but he has multiple outsides (universes) since he made them all. Each one of his universes is one of us. Everything we do, we do through God. Why we are allowed to do bad things I cannot answer. I think our inner nature development is key and that development could not 12

happen if we didn't have freewill. That God developed a persona and now he is making separate persons with personalities of their own is truly amazing. We have a physical nature, our bodies, a mental nature, our minds, and a spiritual nature, our hearts not the pump but our center of our beings. Each of these natures has an emotional side, a rational side and a sociable side. How these sides are developed determines what type of person we become. The nature we should have is the following: Physical Rational = Self Control (discipline and control over actions) Physical Emotional = (mild and personal manner) Gentleness Physical Sociable = Faithfulness (fidelity and truth with others) Mental Rational = Goodness (morality and ethics guiding reasoning) Mental Emotional = Kindness 13

(benignity and mercy guiding disposition) Mental Sociable = Patience (forbearance and patience guiding personal interactions) Spiritual Rational = Peace (serenity, harmony, tranquility is your innermost ego) Spiritual Emotional = Joy (rejoice, delight, gladness is your innermost emotion) Spiritual Sociable = Love (forgiveness, understanding is your innermost heart) These are known as the Fruit of the Spirits as given in Galatians chapter 5 verse 22. These exists if God is in your heart. If God is not in your heart other attributes will be present. So what is in your heart? Some have bitterness, some sorrow, some anger, some hate, some not caring, some greed and some are happy and peaceful. This affects 14

your thinking and your actions. It is your true nature. Now some have tried to eliminate the spiritual from their lives altogether and just concentrating on the mental nature as leader but all this does as to make a person into a machine. Striving away at a job without purpose in life, without real satisfaction. And some let the physical lead but they are no different than animals. In fact most animals are better. We are all an experiment. And part of an experiment is to review the data, the result of your life. To gain the most out of life you need to go back to the creator back to his words concerning your existence since his words gives us life. So I recommend that you read my book and find your future. The time is a lot shorter than we think. My Book This is a simple description given as a 15

starting point for people who thought God didn't exists. It is not a religious view. Everyone has to find their own personal relationship with God.
