9:30 worship We Gather to Worship God Prelude: Heaven Meets Earth Leslie Jordan & David Leonard 2016 Integrity s Praise! Music Welcome *Song: Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty Red Hymnal 538 *Call to Worship (responsive) The mighty One summons us from sunrise to sunset. Out of perfect beauty, God shines forth. God calls to heaven and earth, Gather to me my faithful ones, who made a covenant with me. The heavens declare the righteousness of God, the judge of people and nations. Let us not forget God, but with thanksgiving as our sacrifice, let us be a people of justice. We worship the God of our salvation. *Song: Praise to the Lord, the Almighty Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation. O my soul, praise him, for he is your health and salvation! Come, all who hear, brothers and sisters, draw near. Join me in glad adoration! Praise to the Lord, who o er all things is wondrously reigning. Sheltering you under his wings, oh, so gently sustaining. Have you not seen all that is needful has been Psalm 50, Ministry Matters arr. Randy Pearce *Please stand if you are able.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you. Surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend you. Ponder anew what the Almighty can do, as with his love he befriends you. Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him! All that has life and breath, come now with praises before him. Let the amen sound from his people again. Gladly forever adore him! Let the amen sound from his people again. Gladly forever adore him! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! *We Receive God s Greeting and Greet One Another Children s Time (Children in the Preschool Church Hour Class dismissed to Room 27.) We Are Renewed by God s Grace *We Confess Our Faith: The Apostles Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. *Song of Response: Glory Be to the Father Red Hymnal 961 Prayers of the People Moment for Ministry: Rotating Shelter Todd Redder We Present our Gifts & Offerings for: The Lord s work through AACRC Sung Offertory: This Is My Father s World Red Hymnal 21 We Are Fed by God s Word and Table Scripture Reading: Mark 9:2-9 Message: Mending Reality *Hymn of Response: Beautiful Savior Red Hymnal 17:1 Reading: Common Epiphanies adapted from Roddy Hamilton, Listening to the Stones We Celebrate the Lord s Supper Institution and Invitation Communion This morning we celebrate communion. We encourage you to prayerfully consider how you can participate in this ministry to our community.
