We can listen intently to a sermon, or a lecture, or a political speech. But come back a month later, and mostly what we'll remember is the story the speaker told. From Zen to Muhammad, from Jesus to Moses to the Ball Shem Tov, stories shine their light onto our paths and into our hearts. There's even an old saying that "God created the world because he likes stories." And so do we.
