What is Agua viva? Agua Viva Agua Viva is a fellowship group for youth in grades 4-6. We will gather every other month for an activity of fun and fellowship. Sign ups and information will be available at least a month in advance in print and online. Why Agua Viva? We believe that the waters of baptism connect us all to God and to each other. But I also like this old testament passage from Isaiah 43 when we are reminded that through the waters of life, God is with us. But now, this is what the Lord says Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you Do not be afraid, for I am with you; What to expect... Every time we gather you can expect that there will be prayer, there will be a fun activity, there will be food, there will be sharing of highs, low, and God moments, and there will be a connection to the Bible. We will also need parents to be present at events. If each family group takes 1-2 events through the year, we should have enough adults.

There will be an opportunity to go to camp for longer than just a day as well! Watch for more information in the Spring!

What is EnFuego? EnFuego EnFuego is a group for youth in grades 7-12. We will gather every month for an activity of fun and fellowship. Sign ups and information will be available at least a month in advance in print and online. Why EnFuego? We believe that Spirit fills us and sets our hearts on fire. This group will work with our teen youth to help them find what God s calling on their life is and what their unique burning passion is in this life. In Jeremiah 20, we hear the story of a teenager who struggled with his vocation and to live his life for God. At one point Jeremiah says, there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot. We also see Jeremiah go through a rollercoaster of excitement, frustration, and everywhere in between. This group will walk with each other on the journey. What to expect... Every time we gather, whether it be for a fun trip, service trip, worship experience, or a journey, we will experience together prayer, Bible connections, and check-in times for sharing your highs, lows, and God moments.

Day in Seattle Upcoming Events On Friday, October 12 there is no school. We will meet at church at 9:30am to spend a day in Seattle. How to get involved: Thrivent Action Teams We can get a Thrivent Action Team for many of the projects that we do around here. With every team, comes a $250 gift card to be used for supplies. These allow people who might not normally get involved with the youth to have a behind-the-scenes leadership role that is much needed and appreciated! Pictures/Promotions/Multimedia We need people who have technology skills, can take pictures, and who have social networking skills to help share about events. Behind-the-scenes workers There have been many times this summer that we have needed things moved, or random side projects done. If you are a hands-on worker or just have a truck, we have places you can help! Prayer Support Family + Youth Advisory Team This group will be starting this fall, they will be the support to the Family + Youth program staff and will contribute in making and distributing the calendar, and work with the budget of the Family + Youth Ministry. Meal Teams talk to Rachelle if interested Adult Leaders/Drivers for events Teachers/Guides SHOW UP!
