November is National Adoption Month when we focus on the orphan. We will again be doing the Uganda Project, where we send support to the orphans of the Soroti School, in the form of basic supplies for them to take home on their Christmas break. This also gives an opportunity to witness to the family. More details to come. Please pray about what you can do for the orphans of the world! TODAY is Orphan Sunday! Our missionary, Ruth Anne Wegner will be presenting her ministry to children aging out of the foster care system during this evening s service. If you would like to greet Sam and Ruth Anne Wegner, join us after the evening service on in the Atrium for a special time of fellowship with light refreshments. Surviving the Holidays Both Divorce Care and Grief Share will be holding special onetime sessions, designed to help people through the holiday season. Giving Envelopes If you are a regular attendee of CBC and wish to receive an IRS receipt at the end of the year for your giving, you must use the CBC giving envelopes. To start using them in 2018, please fill out a pew card with your name, address and phone number, state giving envelopes and place in the offering plate. If you have been using envelopes and will NOT need them next year, kindly let us know. If you currently use envelopes and wish to continue, you do not need to do anything; your number will continue to be assigned to you.
