They will share their faith and encourage your youth to connect with the congregation. Having a mentor says to the youth, more people than just my family care about me. Friends in Faith are invited to the Covenant Service August 12th, 2018 at 9:40 AM. Friends in Faith are also expected to attend 5 Sunday morning sessions, once a month from January through Spring. They are also invited to the Confirmation Sunday Service and Luncheon. This is an important decision. Please discuss this with your youth and indicate the name of a person you would like to recommend for this role. Bring your youth to the Mid-High 3rd Floor on Sunday, May 27th 2018 at 9:40 AM. This will be their new church home for the next 3 years. Feel free to stay and visit or just observe. Talk with them about where you will meet them. At the end of class, teachers do not wait with youth. During the Confirmation year, Parents/Guardians can be involved in many different aspects. We recruit a few key leaders, but we will need a larger leadership team. Parents/Guardians make up our teaching and leadership teams and help organize the Confirmation classes, special activities, and service projects. Below, you will find ways you can volunteer to help with our Confirmation class. Confirmation is an important step in both your youth s and your family s lives. Your youth will be making one of the most important decisions in their life. I encourage you to be a part of this special year. Please indicate below ways you will be willing to help. Confirmand Parent/Guardian #1 September 14-15, 2018 Egan Camp and Retreat Center Tahlequah, OK $45 (Separate from Confirmation Fee) A special retreat to Camp Egan just for Confirmands, this retreat is always a great time to get better acquainted with your classmates and enjoy the beauty of Camp Egan. This is an important event, so please make every effort to attend. Camp Egan is a beautiful setting. We stay in nice cabins and meals are provided by the camp. Just bring your bedding and a change of clothes - leave the rest to us! Transportation is provided.
