ADVANCED TEACHERS TRAINING COURSE [A.T.T.C.] (500 Hours) Scheme of the Course TITLE OF THE COURSE: Advanced Teacher s Training Course in Yoga. DURATION OF THE COURSE: The Course is designed over a period of 12 weeks for Approx. 510 hours. The course will be conducted 5 Days in a week from 6am to 7pm excluding Saturdays & Sundays. ELIGIBILITY: 1. Only after Completion of 200 hours Basic Yoga Teacher s Training from any Recognized Yoga School. 2. The Candidate should be medically fit. 3. The Candidate should posses a Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent from a recognized school/college in India or abroad. OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: 1. To become plain/simple, identical with nature. Sadhakas have experienced Reflection in the 200 hour program, now in the 500 hours, the Sadhakas shall live Yoga A Effective Way of Life and not just merely practices to be done in some hours a day. 2. The course is designed and structured to cover Self Study, book review and submission of project work on different topics and aspects of Yoga, learn various Advanced Asanas and Pranayamas gradually. 3. Conduct and attend various Yoga Camps for on the job training and learning. 4. Setting up an example for their students by bringing Transformation in their body, mind, Emotions thus living through the spirit (Self Efficacy).
5. To prepare well trained Yoga teachers to teach Yoga to Parents and Teachers and various other specialized camps 6. To develop overall personality of the learners. 7. To motivate students to take up teaching YOGA as a profession. MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION: Hindi / English / Korean SYLLABUS: - The Syllabus is designed to fulfill aforesaid objectives containing theory subjects, practical and field training in Yoga & Self Development. - The program is designed in 12 weeks i.e Approx 510 hours having 210 Hours of Theory and 300 Hours of Practical Sessions including Job training by attending various camps and classes. The Sadahaka also gets a chance to conduct a few sessions himself under the guidance of an experienced teacher. - Each week has a Concept and based on the Concept every day has a Topic. - The concepts are based on the Bhavas (Attitude): Dharma, Jnana Vairagya, Aishvarya - In the 1 st week we cover the concept of Dharma and the whole timetable including theory and practical is taught based on the concept of dharma or Acceptance, similarly 2 nd week is Jnana (Adapt), third week is Vairagya(Achieve) and fourth week we let the students experience Aishvarya (Acquire). Thus giving them a wholesome experience and a chance to reflect and practice YOGA as a lifestyle themselves before imparting it to others.
