S A C R E D H E A R T C A T H O L I C S C H O O L E ducating Mind, Heart, and Spirit-Since 1948-Crosby, Texas The Heart to Heart Grow In Faith and Love November 21, 2013 From the Principal Thanksgiving is fast approaching and sometimes we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of preparation and do not take time to reflect on those things that are really important to us. I challenge us all to stop and spend time in reflection on what is truly important. God has put us in the places and situations we are in for a reason. We are here to make a positive difference. And if we follow God, we cannot go wrong. As parents, students and members of SHCS faculty and staff, we all have a job to do: a calling from God. We all have the capacity to lead and be leaders. As we move toward this Thanksgiving holiday, let us pray with a spirit of gratitude, always thankful and humble for where we are in our lives and growth we need to make in order to lead His church here on Earth. My prayer this Thanksgiving is for renewed hearts. Hearts full of love for our Lord and Savior. Hearts and minds ready to lead and be leaders for Jesus and His Church here on Earth and in our community. Hearts that are always grateful for the wonderful gifts and talents we have been given. I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with a spirit of gratitude for all that we have been given. I ask God to continue to bless all of you for your support and dedication to Sacred Heart Catholic School. You are the best! Blessings, Mrs. Susan Harris, M.Ed.
