Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time September 09, 2018 Dear Brothers and Sisters, I want to invite all the men of the parish to join our Knights of Columbus (KofC) organization. We have the admission degree of KofC on Thursday, September 27 at 07.00 pm in St. Patrick s parish hall. Friday, September 14 will be observed as the day of Prayer, Fasting and Reparation in the Diocese of Toledo for all sins of sexual abuse especially by Catholic hierarchy and clergy. On this day we are invited to spend time in prayer before the Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament imploring him to heal all abuse victims, to reform the hierarchy and clergy and to cleanse the Church of all evil. The Most Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on Friday after 08.30 am Mass between 09.00am and 10.00am at St. Louis, Custar and between 07.00 pm and 08.00 pm at St. Patrick, Providence. Rev. Religious Education: There will be a parent and student meeting for Religious Education on Sunday, September 16 th, in the school basement following Mass. This is for students in Grades K-8. If you have not yet registered your child(ren) there are forms available in the back of church or by going to the St. Louis Parish Website. If your child was enrolled in religious education last year, you must fill out a new registration form for this year. Forms should be turned in as soon as possible to the parish office. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 16 th. Parish Mission: Our parish is hosting a parish mission with Fr. Jim Sichko. Fr. Jim will offer Mass at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 23 and the school Mass at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, September 24. The presentation 60 Minutes for Jesus: is 6:30 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and Monday evening. Refreshments to follow. Tickets are on sale now and are sold at $50 each. Only 300 tickets will be sold. A number will be drawn each and every weekend for 15 weeks.
