New Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church 2016 Women s Day Celebration Sunday, April 17, 2016 10:00 A.M. Women Moving Forward: Following God in Faith and Fellowship CELEBRATE WITH US! Guest Speaker Pastor Sheryl Jameson New Birth Christian Church Conyers, Georgia Dexter O. Rowland, Sr., Pastor 2580 Snapfinger Road * Decatur, Georgia 30034 A Family of Encouragers
Greetings to all of My Sisters in Christ, As we come together to celebrate Women s Day, let us reflect on our Father s goodness to us. We are so Blessed! We have a Savior who loved us so much that he died on the cross so that we could be reconciled to God. We have a place where we can come and worship God without Fear and in comfort. We have the confidence and support of our Pastor and the men of New Piney Grove to provide leadership for our Sunday morning worship service. We have had the opportunity for the past month to fellowship, have fun and work together as women. Lastly, we had a day to experience the Lord in a Protreat which allowed the Lord to minister directly to our physical, emotional and spiritual needs that often we are reluctant to even acknowledge. Who would not trust in a Father who provided for His children the way that our Father provides for us? As we celebrate this great Women s Day, let s be sure to keep focused on the Lord who deserves all the glory and all the honor! I Love you, First Lady, Sister Renay Rowland
I am the daughter of Deacon Sherman & Bishop Alice Wimberly of Huntingdon, Tennessee where I attended the Full Gospel Deliverance Center. I began my ministry as a young teen singing God praises and word exhortation. As a young Christian, I sang in the church, community choir and local groups. I also held the office of church secretary and adjuvant to the 1 st Lady. As I began developing in Christ, I found myself engaging in the call to ministry through song and exhortations. I met my husband (Pastor Steve A. Jameson) of 33 years in high school. We have two daughters: Shanterian & Sydney. In 1996 we realized that God had more for us as we visited Atlanta and decided to make the move here. After moving we serving in various ministries (Ray of Hope Christian Church of Decatur and the Spoken Word Ministry of Stone Mountain). Not yet finding my spiritual home, in 1997 I was led to The Body of Christ Ministries International of Decatur, Pastor Daniel Davison where the Lord planted me and my family. I was ordained in the ministry and served in numerous capacities, while working every facet of the ministry. In 2006 the Lord moved me and my husband to open New Birth Christian Church (NBCC) where we are faithful to the promotion of Jesus Christ and the price of the cross. While in ministry many doors have opened as I have ministered in many of these United States as God has permitted and have seen the hand of God move in the lives of those that I have come in contact with. In conjunction with the pursuit of Christ-Centered-Life I set out to obtain a long time personal educational goal. I have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master s in Public Administration. I have worked as a contractor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for 9 years. Today I am engaged in areas of ministry in the New Birth Christian Church as it s my heart desire to be instrumental in the up-building of the kingdom of God which causes me to seek diligently after the things of God. Co-Pastor Sheryl Jameson
BUT WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM: FOR HE THAT COMETH TO GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS, AND THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THEM THAT DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM HEBREWS 11:6 TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART; AND LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS. PROVERBS 3: 5-6 KEEP IN MIND LUKE 8: 26-39 THEN THEY WENT OUT TO SEE WHAT WAS DONE; AND CAME TO JESUS, AND FOUND THE MAN, OUT OF WHOM THE DEVILS WERE DEPARTED, SITTING AT THE FEET OF JESUS, CLOTHED, AND IN HIS RIGHT MIND; AND THEY WERE AFRAID
