Central University of Haryana (Established Under Central Universities ACT 2009) (Villages Jant-Pali ) Mahendergarh Instructions for Candidates receiving their degrees in Convocation on Saturday, 1 st march 2014 Central University of Haryana is organising its First Convocation on Saturday 1 st March, 2014 for which convocation notice has already been displayed on the university website as well as on university notice boards. Eligible pass-out students of the university are invited to participate in the convocation to receive their degree. In order to participate in the convocation to receive degree certificates, concerned students are required to comply with the following guidelines; 1) Eligible students are required to register themselves by filling up Convocation Registration Form to receive degree along with convocation fee of Rs. 500/-. Registration form is available on university website and university Examination Office. Duly filled in form along with fee can be submitted in Examination officer latest by 17 th Feb 2014. 2) Concerned students are required to attend the rehearsal on 27 th /28 th Feb 2014 at 11 AM in University Campus. 3) Concerned students are required to contact Gown Committee on rehearsal day to collect their gown on payment of refundable security money of Rs. 1000/-. 4) Concerned students should report on Convocation Day (1 st March 2014) at 9 AM in University Campus to collect the Entry Pass from the reception Desk and occupy their allotted seat. 5) During the convocation proceedings, Students should remain seated on their respective seats. They should not move around frequently and not to block the passage in the convocation time. 6) Degrees will be distributed on the convocation day strictly as per the order decided by the university officials on rehearsal days. Candidates are advised to keep themselves ready for the proceeding without wasting any time. At the time of receiving degrees candidate should express their humble gesture to the dignitaries on the dais. 7) In case of any discrepancy found in the Degree/Medal (if any) please do not point out during convocation proceeding and contact to the Examination Department after the convocation proceedings are over so that unnecessary disturbance can be avoided in degree distribution to other candidates.
8) All the candidates in the convocation hall will stand up and will remain standing during When the academic procession enters the convocation hall and all dignitaries take their seats on the dais. When the national anthem is being played. When the procession leaves the convocation hall. No one will leave until the precession leaves the hall. 9) Camera, Mobiles, Handbags, Weapons, Briefcases are strictly not allowed in Convocation premises. Please maintain silence in the hall. 10.) Students are supposed to maintain the sanctity and decorum of the ceremony by observing highest degree of discipline, punctuality and calm. 11.)
