Sponsor Booklet Year II ST. JAMES THE GREATER 2018-19
Confirmation Sponsor: You have been chosen by someone who feels you are an example of a faith filled follower of Christ. Someone that can support him/her during this two year confirmation journey. Please start by PRAYING for the candidate regularly. Pray with them and for them. Affirm them often! One activity that the students DO NOT know about is the sponsor letter to their candidate. Please write a letter to your candidate supporting them in their life long journey of faith. Write from your heart about the importance of Catholic/Christian faith and encourage him/her to continue growing in their faith journey. You may write numerous letters throughout the year and save them up or one letter at the end of this journey. The candidate will get to read the letter at his/her overnight retreat. Please put the letter in an envelope with his/her name and mail to me by March 1, 2019.
