ISAIAH 28:11 THIS IS THE REST!!!! IT IS GODS WORK NOT OURS!!! ISAIAH 28: 11. For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12. In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. There is tongues with interpretation..god is then speaking to unbelievers.. 1Cor14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not:. However for the believer Devils tactics: Not aware of Not believe in Not rely on THIS IS THE REST!!!! Yet they would not hear 1Cor 14: 2. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 2
4. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 14. For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. 16. Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest? 17. For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified. 18. I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all: Eph. 6:17-18 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; He made my mouth like a sharpened sword..& hid me concealed me Jude 18; But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Hebrews 4: 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Romans 8: 3
26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Gen 11: 4. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. 4
Isaiah 6: 5. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. THROUGH THE MESIAH, GOD PROMISED TO RESTORE TO HIS PEOPLE A PURE LANGUAGE Zephaniah 3: 8. Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. 9. For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent. In one accord.according to the will of God REMEMBER JAMES WARNING THAT NO MAN CAN TAME THE TONGUE THE PSALMEST SAID IN PSALMS 81:10 I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. Isaiah 58: (his rest) 13. If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Enter HIS REST!!! Hebrews 4:5 14.Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. Psalms 37: 4. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. James 4:3 Ye ask and receive not because ye ask amiss that you may consume it upon your lusts: 1 John 5:14-15 and this is the confidence that we have in Him, the, if we ask anything according to his will He heareth us: (v15) and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. How then to know how to pray in His will?????? Rom 8: 5. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (faith the substance of things hoped for) 6
25. But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Hebrews 4: 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Coming to maturity as sons of God, necessarily means laying down our own lives & ways. We must come under his government, not speaking even our own words. Let us turn to Him with prayer and worship in the Spirit..in our private devotions. We must also allow the Spirit of God to intercede thru us according to His purpose. Thus will Gods purpose in the earth be accomplished thru and by His church in the earth.this is, in part at least, entering into His rest.. ~ ~ ~ 7
