Why a Prayer Conference for Christian Leaders in Colombia? The background for this call to unite in fast and prayer event is that we, the ICCC International Christian Chamber of Commerce, have felt lead by the Lord to Colombia TO SERVE the body of Christ there. The story leading up to this is quite lengthy, but we hear the Lord saying, Colombia will be reformed into a new role model and prototype, in order to become a blessing for the future of the South American continent. This relates first to its redemptive calling and purpose of the nation which is under attack today linked to the many big issues currently facing the nation. During our trips to Colombia it has become clear that the time has come to sound the trumpet and gather the elders in the Land uniting in prayer to rightly follow in God s footsteps for the coming season. We have been invited to meet with leaders in Government on the ministry level, to leading Church leaders, as well as to the Peace Summit, etc. which we believe is a sign. The message we feel from the Lord has a fundament of two biblical dimensions based upon three scriptures. q Joel 2:15-16, Ezk 22 describes how to blow the trumpet and gather the elders in order to then be able to blow the second trumpet and gather the congregation. Now is the time to come together as elders of the nation and take a position and stand in the GAP on the walls of the nation and its cities, together with the Lord. q Luke 8: 40 tells about the woman with a blood desise, who reached out to touch the garment of Jesus and received healing. In the same way Colombia will receive healing if she would reach out. To see Colombia reach its calling and destiny, we all, the ECCLESIA, need to humble ourselves before the Lord and seek Him together in Unity for the future, for Him to heal the land (2 Chron 7:14).
In this conference, we will gather before the Lord as elders of the land in unity, representing different parts of the body (e.g. Church leaders, societal- and business leaders), so that we may come closer to the Lord and the desired future of Colombia. Together we will seek God in prayer and worship and allow Him to speak to us regarding the coming restoration of the nation linked to the will of God, manifesting His Kingdom impacting industries, cities and all of society in Colombia. JESUS IS THE ANSWER, BUT WHAT ARE THE QUESTIONS, IN WHICH WE NEED GODS SOLUTIONS? Some examples: VENEZUELA THREAT, SOCIETAL CORRUPTION, PEACE PROCESS INCLUDING SOCIAL INTEGRA- TION, PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, FAMILY ISSUES and FUTURE OF JOB CREATION - ENTREPRE- NEURSHIP & EDUCATION. We, the ICCC, cannot do this, but we can come and stand together in LOVE and UNITY in PRAYER serving the nation the elders of the nation! We want to rediscover the redemptive purpose of Colombia in God in order to manifest our spiritual inheritance and call forth a reconciled future that leads to becoming a blessing to the people of the next generation of Colombia and all over the South American continent! The future of job creation and entrepreneurship can be linked to a covenant relationship with Jewish people and Israel the START UP NATION! We foresee a new process between Colombian businesses and Israel that will become a tremendous blessing to the nations in South America. Background Perspectives This word on the right came as a surprise from the Lord. Since this word, the ICCC, have been to Colombia twice trying to discern this and what our role should be. We have met with many leaders and other people during these trips. The Lord has opened doors in an amazing way. Some examples are: While being in the Country, we where invited to participate in the Nobel Peace Summit January 2017. We where also invited to meet with the Minister of Finance and to speak about the need for FORGIVENESS in the process of reconciliation, which touches three dimensions; between generations, between Urban and Rural people and between former Guerillas, along with other people of Colombia. We spoke of the good examples of reconciliation and forgiveness in Rwanda and the remarkable process in the area of corruption. But we have also met with many great Church leaders in Medellin and Bogota. WHAT DO WE SEE? (a Reconciled Future!) The Colombian heritage is rich! You are privileged to live in a part of the world with a Great Future - if we are being good stewards of what the Lord has given to us. This can be seen in the SA continent Hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, as well as a recent legacy of revival and being a missionary sending nation. The question is how can God s love be expressed through A word from the Lord regarding Colombia at the ICCC Int. We see a country with wonderful people in a wonderful garden full of flowers, suffering from over 50 years of war and drug cartel conflicts, deep corruption and now a potential political turmoil linked to the coming presidential election. We see great steps in revival and peacemaking, but also a parallel process with unemployed people without hope for the future, looking for a life with greater meaning
