Grade 1 Session 8 Celebrating God s Forgiveness and the Eucharist Session 8 Overview The theme of Session 8 is Celebrating God s Forgiveness and the Eucharist. Children learn in Chapter 19 about God s forgiveness and our call to forgive one another. They learn in Chapter 22 about celebrating the Eucharist and the Mass. Chapter 19 Overview In Chapter 18 the children learned ways members of the Church follow Jesus. In this chapter they will learn about God s forgiveness. Parish: Guest Speaker Invite one of the priests of the parish to talk to the children about God s forgiveness and the Sacrament of Penance.
