Do You Know His Name? Exodus 3: 13, 14
Why is it Important? Knowing the name of someone shows how well we know them. It helps you to become familiar with them. Relationships can then be formed. Mutual love and respect developed That person is no longer someone who is distant and does not matter. You then begin to understand his/her personal attributes.
I Am That I Am Exodus 3: 13, 14 Moses asks God what His name is. God response: I AM that I AM. A very simple answer for a very complicated question. I Am = God is. God is all that our feeble minds could understand. GOD JUST IS!!!!
YHWH or Yahweh Pronounced as Jehovah in English The word most used in the Old testament. The pronunciation is uncertain because His name was considered too holy to be uttered. It also means, To Be. Same word used in Ex. 3: 13, 14 It could only be spoken by the high priest in the Holy of Holies on the day of Atonement. One had to completely prostrate themselves each time the name was heard in the outer court
El- It simply means God. It is usually used in conjunction with a characteristic of God. It was the name first used for God in Genesis. In the beginning, EL or God EL (God) said that it was good. It was also the name of God that most in appeared in the names of humans.

It also expresses the manifold or many aspects of God. IT DOES NOT MEAN MANY GODS!!! Most scholars believe that this is the first word used to describe the Holy Trinity of God. Gen. 1:26- Let us the powers/manifold of God create man in OUR Aspects or manifold of God own image.
The Names of God Eloah or Elohai The singular form of Elohim Used primarily (41 times) in Job It literally means The God. It is also where the word Allah comes from. Allah is the Semitic or Aramaic word for The God. The name Allah was even used by Christians from Assyria and Persia during early church times.
The Names of God El Shaddai It literally means God Almighty. It expresses the unlimited power of an all-powerful God. Sometimes we forget about this aspect of God. Is there anything too hard for El Shaddai/God Almighy?

Shekhinah It s literal meaning is The presence or manifestation of God. The root word means To dwell. It also means the God who dwells with humanity. Prophetic name of Jesus revealed in the Old Testament Lets us know that God will someday dwell among men!! Proves that Jesus is also God!!!!
