How do you know if you've truly received the Father's love? Is there a biblical test to know whether you have truly experienced this, or is it merely information in your head? Scriptures To Defeat Fear Meditate on these Sciptures deeply. Say them, mutter them, think about them deeply, ponder them, declare them in the first person. They are weapons to defeat that evil demon of fear which is stopping you from doing the will of our Father in heaven. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? The LORD is the strength of Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Genesis 26:24 I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. Psalm 91 1 2 3 4 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
