FELLOWSHIP HALL DOORS The Board of Trustees recently changed the set of doors to the Fellowship Hall that are closest to our front doors. This new type of door will stay open once pushed open BUT they do not close automatically. This was done to be more handicap accessible and to help with deliveries of food for fellowship and Feeding Friends. While very helpful, this new style of door is causing an issue - the doors are being left open. If you use these doors, please make sure that they are closing prior to leaving the premises. Thank you! SERMON SERIES We are continuing a five-week sermon series this Sunday called The Fruit of the Spirit: Signs of Spiritual Growth. We are looking at the nine fruits of the spirit from Galatians 5:22-23, and learning together how those fruits are not meant to be things we check-off a list, but rather are signs of spiritual growth and maturity that result from lives that are lived in step with Jesus Christ. We hope you will join us! Readings for Sunday May 27, 2018 Click on the scripture to view. Scripture: Philippians 4:4-7 Sermon Scripture: Galatians 5:22-23 Luke 14:7-15 ALTAR FLOWERS AND SPECIAL MUSIC The flowers on the altar are given to the glory of God in celebration of Sean and Robin Gundry s 10th wedding anniversary. A special note of thanks to Nadia & Michael Pieterse, and the Chancel Choir for the special music on Sunday. FEEDING FRIENDS With the warmer weather upon us, our friends are drinking more water, so cases of water would be appreciated. Other needs are boots, jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sunscreen, bug spray or bug repellent bracelets, wipes, new underwear, C and D batteries, tents, and large tarps.
