B C Laurelton Cherub Choir - Judy Robinson, director CALL TO WORSHIP Today, the Holy Spirit is in this place, and calls us into community. Today, the Spirit touches each one of us, and reminds us we belong to the whole. Today, we remember that the people of God includes everyone everywhere all kinds of people from all kinds of backgrounds, all are the family of God. Today, we are grateful for the life-giving Spirit that calls us together. Come, Holy Spirit, gather us in and make us one!

*HYMN 284, Chalice (blue) Gather Us In *GATHERING PRAYER Loving God, you have sent your Spirit forever into your creation to give us life and love, to gather us as one in hope. May we be awake to your Spirit today! May we be the ones who feel life, who share love, who live hope, and who build community, so that through your call to each of us we might be Spirit-signs in your world. In Christ s name we pray, Amen. *SUNG RESPONSE: Spirit of the Living God Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on me. Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on me. Melt me, mold me, fill me, use me. Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on me. READING FROM SCRIPTURE 1 Corinthians 12:4-12, 14-26 MESSAGES FOR ALL AGES Sarah Pradhan and Rev. As the elements are passed, please wait until all have been served and all will partake together. The bread in the small paper cup is gluten-free. The cups contain non-alcoholic grape juice. The cup in the center of the tray contains water, for anyone unable to have the grape juice. Invitation Friends in Christ, we come now to the table of grace, where all are welcomed, all are invited, all are offered the gifts of new life. We share in this sacrament, connected to the ages, as it binds us in covenant with God and with all others. With the community of the faithful through time and beyond time, we bear witness to the Spirit s work, to the presence of the Risen Christ, to the grace of God our Creator, whose love forgives, redeems and heals the world.

Prayer of Preparation and the Lord s Prayer...this we pray in Christ's name, as we also say together: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Recalling the Story: The Words of Institution Sharing the Bread and the Cup Prayer of Thanksgiving We give thanks to you, God of all creation, for our welcome at your table, for the gifts of life and new life! Now send us out awake in your Spirit, strong in our faith, ready to be building blocks for Christ, wherever we are.
