Grace Bible Church Pastor Teacher Robert R. McLaughlin Tree of Life Weekly Review 090218 The Supreme Court of Heaven is Always Open and Available for Believers This is one of the many blessings our Lord gave to us so that we need to be sure that we realize and understand that there is no such problem that is too small or too great for TLJC to hear about it and then do something about it. If He knows the number of hairs upon your head, and He does according to LUK 12:7, then it follows that He knows everything that we need to be His followers. Therefore, notice what our Lord said in LUK 12:4-5, And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But, I will warn you whom to fear as our Lord says, Fear the One who after He has killed has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him! It s amazing to me how many believers show more respect and fear toward Satan and his kingdom rather then they do for TLJC. And that is basically what members of the human race do when they are faced with certain responsibilities concerning how to function as a Royal Ambassador toward one another. This principle is real easy to spot because most believers show more respect and accountability for people they do for TLJC. Let me give you an example. The average believer today is not filled with graciousness and gratitude especially when it comes to doing such things such as paying a bill at dinner or tipping the waiters and waitresses. Now, I know I can have some weird thoughts at certain times and I may even derive some pleasure when I see stingy people squirm trying to get out of leaving the tip. However, think of how inconsistent the carnal believer really is because they will give more to the waitresses and waiter who they may never see again. But, for that moment, as you sit there and decide what you think is best for you, you will discover that most believers will give more to strangers like the waitress or waiters then they do for members of your household, especially men and women of doctrine. I didn t say all that TLJC and the apostle Paul are the ones who bring us to the light in these matters. The sad thing of course is that this type of religious people are self-righteous, and spineless, and gutless, but still they are legalist. You see, I am setting before you choices and my desire is for all of you to make the correct doctrinal application to those choices so that certain biblical passages can come alive and give you the confidence you need to be victorious. For example, let me play this out for you so that you can see the divine solutions to all of your problems. First of all, listen to what the Word of God has too say concerning this matter. A good illustration of this is found in the teachings of the apostle Paul and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Concentrate on the divine solutions and operate in what I call the triple L s = Look, Listen, and Learn. Notice how clear and precise God the Holy Spirit is in guiding and directing us on how to function with those principles we have just noted. The Lord has to set everything down in writing to us and for us. And there really is not too many more of these translations so when the apostle Paul deals with something like this... you must pay attention. Alright, let s pay attention. GAL 6:1, Brethren, even if a man is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; {each one} looking to yourself, lest you too be tempted. The apostle Paul says to live creatively because if someone falls into sin or evil, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day s out. GAL 6:2, Bear one another s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ. Stoop down and reach out to those who are hurting or oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete the Law of Christ = Virtue-Love s. GAL 6:3-4, For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have [reason for] boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. Paul is saying to make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don t be impressed with yourself. Don t compare yourself with others. GAL 6:5, For each one shall bear his own load. Now, here comes the dreadful advice that a lot of Pastor s won t talk about but the advice is real and they will be a source of blessing for you, if you want it! Now, do you believe this or do you want to say what JOB said; JOB 3:25, For what I fear comes upon me, And what I dread befalls me. (Illustration of gifts to the king first before everything else. Next the apostle Paul says in GAL 6:6, And let the one who is taught the word share all good things with him who teaches. Now, I am just going to quote The Message Bible. After you have been trained up in a self-sufficient spiritual maturity, then you are to enter into a generous life with those who have trained you, sharing all the good things that you have and experience. And so, what did God the Holy Spirit do for the apostle Paul who had his own personal doctrinal advice which in context deals with the principle of giving. Next, the apostle Paul says in GAL 6:6, And let the one who is taught the word share all good things with him who teaches.

This is completely opposite concerning how people in the world think. My Bible teaches that every believer has the responsibility to give to the one who teaches...and that s right to the point. And, I will remind you once again, the word translated in Gal 6:6 is the Greek verb koinoneo to share with others, to give to others, to communicate, distribute, be partaker or partners with someone. So, the apostle Paul goes on and says GAL 6:7, Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. I put that principle on the board so that you can learn it, love it, and put into action by using your eye gate and your hearing to come to the correct doctrinal teachings. Don t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. Whatever a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others or ignoring God! will end up being a loser in the spiritual life. GAL 6:8, For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life. When a believer does not produce fruit for others or for the Lord, then he will harvests a crop of weeds. All he ll have to show for his life is weeds! Or as the prophet Isaiah said he will have nothing but ashes. ISA 44:20, He feeds on ashes; a deceived heart has turned him aside. And he cannot deliver himself, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand? But the one who plants in response to God, letting God s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life and blessings. GAL 6:9, And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. Why? GAL 6:10, So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. Let s not allow ourselves to get fatigued and wiped out in doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us especially who are of the household of faith. And if we have a desire to know the Lord and to glorify Him then we must understand our Lord, Now, those are principles that if you follow what the Lord promises will become divine blessings. The issue is do you really believe that? Now, you can say I am NOT ready yet to be that gracious because I have too many other distractions, like my bills, that are designed to hinder my advance and to try and take away our fantastic blessings.

And therefore the real issue here is this: Are you ready to go forward in God s plan or are you getting ready to quit, throw in the towel, murmur and complain because things are not turning out the way you planned. Now, as you desire at certain times certain wants or certain needs that will come your way, those things are absolutely necessary and are essential if you are ever going to glorify the Lord. If you want it-you can have it! And, let me remind those of you who say you can t afford to give like this when in reality you cannot afford to miss this. What advice did our Lord give us? Well, the very first principle concerning our subject so far is found in one of the most popular and simple passage which are found in the Gospel. Here it is, I know that you heard it before, but you need to make the decision to either believe in TLJC or to reject Him. However, and may I remind you, the amount of days you have to live your life before the Lord and to communicate the mystery doctrine of the Church-age is a tremendous honor and privilege to just be named or mentioned. And remember who chose you? Here it is, are you ready? This is so deep that here comes the judge. LUK 6:38, Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. You see, a little patience and all the work paid off. LUK 6:38, Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. So, He chose us; He chose you. He chose me and He chose you and His desire was to choose the entire human race without violating their freedom. 2PE 3:9, The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. That is our Lord s desire for the entire human race, but some of it cannot be used or accepted by God because God is not in the business of violating man s free will. Now, let s get ready to rumble with our Lord s omnipotence and therefore we have all the power we would ever need. Let s look at the passage; JOH 15:12-22, This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends, if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit,

and {that} your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give to you. This I command you, that you love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before {it hated} you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, A slave is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name s sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. Now, in spite of all this info and these principles, the majority of the human race still rejects TLJC and still awaits a decision from the SCOH by the Supreme Court Judge (SCJ). And just like the prophet Isaiah said in ISA 5:4, What more was there to do for My vineyard that I have not done in it? Why, when I expected {it} to produce {good} grapes did it produce worthless ones? This is what happens when a believer doesn t take the Lord s word seriously and instead focuses in on himself or herself rather than the Lord s will. What has happened to them, these Jews? I m sure that some of them did pass the tests the Lord has been giving to them to make them stronger. However, they have ignored certain important spiritual issues that the Lord has been trying to train them for on the battlefield. Isaiah knows our Lord s opinion of man as we have noted so many times before. For example, Isaiah is the one who wrote ISA 1:1-7. ISA 1:1-6, The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, concerning Judah and Jerusalem which he saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, {and} Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Listen, O heavens, and hear, O earth; For the Lord speaks, Sons I have reared and brought up, But they have revolted against Me. An ox knows its owner, And a donkey its master s manger, {But} Israel does not know, My people do not understand. Alas, sinful nation, People weighed down with iniquity, Offspring of evildoers, Sons who act corruptly! They have abandoned the Lord, They have despised the Holy One of Israel, They have turned away from Him. Where will you be stricken again, {As} you continue in {your} rebellion? The whole head is sick, And the whole heart is faint. From the sole of the foot even to the head There is nothing sound in it, {Only} bruises, welts, and raw wounds, Not pressed out or bandaged, Nor softened with oil. Your land is desolate, Your cities are burned with fire, Your fields strangers are devouring them in your presence; It is desolation, as overthrown by strangers. All of those verses describe the believer s state when he falls away from the Lord and has gone AWOL. So much so that the prophet Isaiah had to put certain principles in a book for the guidance and direction of those believers who have the spiritual life but very limited. These are the types of believers who do not recognize that they are being used by Heylel or by Satan, that devil!
