CONFERENCE RULES FOR ATTENDEES An Identification Card (ID) will be issued to all conference attendees at the time of their registration for the 2017 Youth Conference (Wednesday June 28 th Monday July 3 rd ). This ID card MUST be visibly worn throughout the duration of the conference. Presentation of the ID card may be requested to verify yourself and/or the parish you represent. This is also a requirement by the hotel management. At no time should the male conference attendees enter the female conference attendees designated hotel rooms; this holds true to female participants as well. The room assignments are non-coed, and no excuses will be accepted or tolerated. As we will be utilizing various facilities, both Church and public property, throughout the conference, it is important that each attendee respect the property, which is being used. As per request of the hotel management, all conference attendees and organizers must stringently honor set curfew times. If you are found not respectfully upholding these set times, you will be given only ONE written warning followed by expulsion from the conference if dishonoring of the curfew is continued. The hotel pool/ waterpark will be strictly off limits to attending members of the 2017 Youth Conference. At no time are conference participants permitted to leave the conference premise, events, and activities for any reason, unless prior permission is acquired from the youth leader and Parish Priest who will inform the conference security organizers. While being transported in the buses, each attendee is expected to remain with their parish on the specific bus to which they were assigned unless instructed otherwise by a member of the central organizing committee. This will allow for all attendees to be accounted for by their youth president and ensure swift and efficient transport. Attendees found in violation of this rule, despite warning, will face strict censure. The consumption of alcohol throughout the duration of the conference is STRICTLY prohibited. No amount of alcohol is to be consumed irrespective of legal age. Smoking (cigarettes, hookah/vaporizers, illegal substances, etc.) of any kind is not allowed and absolutely prohibited during the conference. We have a zero tolerance rule against illegal substances and tobacco usage during the conference.

Inappropriate and derogative language spoken by conference attendees will be dealt with in accordance to the severity of the case and could see you expelled from the conference. All social media posts made at or about the 2017 Youth Conference must be appropriate and encouraging to our Church as a whole. Attendees caught in violation of this rule will face strict censure. All conference attendees are required to attend all lecture sessions prepared by various speakers. Be prepared with your Bibles and attentive during these sessions. Use of telephones, tablets, computers, etc. or any other disruptive behavior during lecture sessions or prayer services will not be tolerated. Repeated inappropriate use of electronic devices may lead to their confiscation by the central committee for the remainder of the conference. As it is accustomed and fitting within our Church, and in reverence to the presence of the Lord God in His Holy House, in particular the Sunday Eucharistic (Qurbana) service, all conference attendees MUST wear appropriate attire at specified events. IF YOU ARE EXPELLED FROM CONFERENCE FOR ANY REASON, ALL COSTS/EXPENSES MUST BE COVERED BY YOUR PARISH

CONFERENCE RULES AGREEMENT Any attendee who witnesses others in violation of the aforementioned rules is required to report to their youth leader, priest, or a member of the central security team immediately. Attendees in association with others in violation with the above rules will face strict censure. I hereby confirm to having read the above rules and vow to uphold them throughout my participation in the 2017 National Youth Conference and understand that my violation of the above rules could lead to strict censure and even my expulsion from the conference.
