QUOTATION NOTICE QUOTATION NO: IIMK/ENGG/ELE/QUO/ 14 /2016-17 SUPPLY OF ELECTRICAL SPARES AND CONSUMABLES Sealed Quotations in prescribed forms are invited from reputed manufactures, dealers or suppliers for the above, so as to reach the office of the undersigned on or before 13.03.2017 at 3.00 PM. The terms and conditions are as mentioned below. 1. The Quotation Notice and the Schedule of quantities form part of this Quotation. 2. Earnest Money Deposit: 2% of the quoted value. 3. Cost of Quotation form: Rs. 500/- + (5%VAT) [Total Rs. 525/-] by DD favouring Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode payable at Kozhikode. 4. EMD and cost of form shall be submitted along with the quotation in the form of DD favouring Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode payable at Kozhikode. DDs should be taken on or after 21.02.2017 5. Issue of Quotation form: 21.02.2017 to 09.03.2017 during office hrs (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM). Interested parties can also download the Quotation form from the Institute website (https://iimk.ac.in/announcements/tender.php) and in such case, the cost of the form to be submitted along with Quotation at the time of submission. Quotation form without cost of form or EMD will be rejected. 6. Last date for receipt of Quotations: 13.03.2017 at 03:00PM. 7. Opening of Bids : 13.03.2017 at 04:00PM 8. Quotations are to be sent to the issuing authority by Registered post /Speed post /Courier In case of hand delivery, the Quotations shall be deposited in the in the Tender box Engineering kept for the purpose at the Reception area in the Administrative Block of the Institute. The name of the supply, Supply of electrical spares and consumables with full address of the quotationer, shall be clearly indicated on the sealed envelope. 9. The Quotation shall be complete in all respect and Delivery schedule shall clearly be indicated separately. 10. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all charges, taxes & duties (VAT etc), handling, transporting and unloading at the Institute Campus at Kunnamangalam. 11. The validity for the rates shall be minimum period of 3(three) months from the date of opening the quotation. Page 1 of 4

12. The supply shall be made within two weeks on receipt of purchase order and for any delay, penalty will be imposed @ 0.5% of the order value of delayed items per week subject to a maximum 2.5% of the total quoted amount for that particular items. 13. Detailed purchase orders shall be issued to the successful party and the acceptance of same shall be acknowledged within 3 days. 14. Samples shall be produced wherever asked for, at no extra cost and such items shall not be accepted if the samples produced are found substandard. 15. IIMK reserve the right to split the scope of supply, considering competitiveness of the rate offered by the suppliers for individual item of spares/consumables. 16. The supplier (successful bidder) shall deposit an amount equivalent to 5% of the quoted value as Security Deposit in the form of DD or Bank guarantee; this security deposit shall be returned on satisfactory completion of supply. 17. The payment shall be effected after delivery, for the Bills preferred, within 30 days as per normal terms of the Institute. 18. The quality and make of the spares and consumables will be assessed by the Institute before releasing the payment. If any item is found substandard or defective the same shall be rejected and no claim for such item(s) will be entertained. 19.
