VBS Report Jackie Linder Confession of Sin and Assurance of Forgiveness Pastoral Prayer The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Sermon: Second Missionary Journey of Paul Dan Ratchford Acts 16:1-10 Have Thine Own Way, Lord Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way! Thou art the Potter, I am the clay! Mold me and make me after Thy will, while I am waiting, yielded and still. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way! Search me and try me, Master, today! Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now, as in Thy presence humbly I bow. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way! Wounded and weary, help me, I pray! Power, all power surely is Thine! Touch me and heal me, Savior divine. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way! Hold over my being absolute sway! Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see Christ only, always living in me. Benediction Josh Vahle Postlude
10:30 AM Sunday Order of Worship Prelude Welcome 10,000 Reasons/Bless the Lord Chorus Bless the Lord O my soul, O my soul. Worship His holy name. Sing like never before, O my soul. I ll worship Your holy name. The sun comes up it s a new day dawning. It s time to sing Your song again. Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me. Let me be singing when the evening comes. You re rich in love and You re slow to anger. Your name is great and Your heart is kind. For all Your goodness I will keep on singing. Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find. And on that day when my strength is failing. The end draws near and my time has come. Still my soul will sing Your praise unending. Ten thousand years and then forevermore. Sermon: Second Missionary Journey of Paul Dan Ratchford Acts 16:1-10 The Power of the Cross Oh, to see the dawn of the darkest day; Christ on the road to Calvary; tried by sinful men, torn and beaten, then nailed to a cross of wood. Chorus (verses 1, 2 & 3) This the power of the cross; Christ became sin for us; took the blame, bore the wrath; we stand forgiven at the cross! Oh, to see the pain written on Your face, bearing the awesome weight of sin; every bitter thought, every evil deed crowning Your blood-stained brow. Now the daylight flees; now the ground beneath quakes as its Maker bows His head. Curtain torn in two, dead are raised to life; Finished! the victory cry! Oh, to see my name written in the wounds, for through Your suffering I am free. Death is crushed to death, life is mine to live, won through Your selfless love! Chorus (verse 4) This the power of the cross; Son of God slain for us. What a love, what a cost! We stand forgiven at the cross! Benediction Postlude Josh Vahle
