Weekly News 27 th May 2018 www.stpetersharrogate.org.uk St Peter s Church, Cambridge Road, Harrogate, HG1 1PB St Peter's Breakfast Club receives 200 from ASDA On Monday Asda invited Breakfast Club's Hannah Beck and her deputy, Steve Gibb, to the store to receive a cheque for 200 from their Green Token Giving Programme. Angela Smith, the Community Champion at the Harrogate store, put our name forward and has organised this rather splendid trolley to collect food donations for us, too. She also volunteers at St Peter's every Thursday, helping to prepare and distribute the food parcels. First place went to Happy Wanderers Ambulance Organisation, who provide transport for older and disabled people, and Bob Blackburn collected their cheque for 500. A big thank you to everyone who collected the tokens and voted for us and, of course, to Asda, but especially Angela. Marian Chambers, Weekly News and Parish Newsletter Editor
