The Monthly Newsletter of The Central Florida Metal Detecting Club Carolyn Harwick: From The President s Desk It is already February and the club is moving along fast and working on many exciting things for the club. This month we will have our Annual Member Appreciation Hunt on Saturday, February 21 st. The hunt will be held at the DeBary Methodist Church property which is located approximately 2 miles west of the church on Highbanks Rd. Everyone is welcome to attend. However ONLY paid CFMDC club members may participate in the prize drawings and seeded hunts. There will be a club picnic this month and the club will be providing hotdogs, hamburgers and all the fixings. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share at the picnic. Start time will be at 9:00 AM and it will end sometime after noon. Several organizations and different members of the community have been reaching out to our club to assist with events and we will be discussing this at the club meeting. We will be looking for FEBRUARY 2018 some volunteers so come ready to sign up to help! The 6 th Annual Central Florida Sunshine Shootout & Relic Hunt is right around the corner on April 14 th. We have been working hard to get everything into place and will also need some volunteers to help out at Moss Park. If you have any relics to donate for the event, please bring them into the meeting. Remember it is time for club dues to be paid so make sure to bring them to the meeting. You may also pay for the Shootout as well. There have been a lot of recoveries this month and I want to thank everyone for helping out. Keep up the good work. If you have helped out with a recovery, please let me know so I do not miss you! Carolyn See you at the next meeting.
