It was also at the Feast of Tabernacles that the Israelites who had returned to rebuild the temple gathered together to hear Ezra proclaim the Word of God to them. Neh. 8 Ezra preaching resulted in a great revival as the Israelites confessed their sins and repented of them. It was also during this Feast that Jesus said, If anyone thirst, let him come to me and drink. He who believes in me as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. Jn 7:37-39
