You have options. -All senior retreats are Called to Serve (CTS); for example: CTS Kairos #88 Leader; Freshman & Sophomore retreat leader; CTS Urban Plunge #18; CTS LYSIT Summer 2015 participant -All seniors must fully participate in one of the CTS retreats to graduate from LSHS -Will schedule next Monday, August 24 th 28 th

CTS -Option 1: Retreat leader Expectations Lead by example Must be academically eligible No significant disciplinary infractions Willing to share personal stories of faith seeking understanding with depth, honesty and sincerity Commit to and work through two months of preparation w/ mentor, Kairos adult director perhaps family/friends. Attend all preparation meetings Commit to taking one s faith seriously by spending time in prayer, community and reflection. Benefits Reflect on life s experience in the context of faith and spiritual living. Cultivate a deeper relationship with God, self, family and others. Develop and cultivate life-long relationships with peers. TRANSFORM -lead a spiritually engaging retreat by being an intentional leader
CTS -Option 1: Freshman & Soph Retreat Leader
CTS -Option 1: Freshman & Soph Retreat Leader Leader Expectations Lead by example Must be academically eligible No significant disciplinary infractions Be a mentor to a freshmen before, during and after the FDR Willing to share personal stories of healthy relationships as it relates to God, self and others Commit to and work through three weeks of preparation (Soph) Lead a small group of sophomores in reflection, prayer and discussion. Benefits Learn more about yourself while mentoring a freshman. Grow closer to your classmates. Develop your relationship with God. Refine your public speaking abilities and interpersonal dynamics. Be as a real leader.
CTS -Option 2 -Urban Plunge
CTS -Option 3 -Urban Plunge Participant Expectations Investigate our preconception of others, especially the least among us. Willingness to try to respond to God s presence in the world. Learn from the service of others. Share your thoughts and feelings openly and honestly. Benefits See the world/city differently. See yourself differently. See God s presence differently. Make a difference in the life of another person. Meet other people and their respective needs through service. Arrive at a deeper understanding of God s truth.
CTS -Option 3 LYSIT Summer 2015 Participant
CTS -Option 3 LYSIT Summer 2015 This option is only for those who have participated as a Lasallian Youth Service Immersion Trip participant during the summer of 2015. Unfortunately we cannot offer students the opportunity to count their potential LYSIT participation in the summer of 2016, as the students will have officially graduated from La Salle High School.
