King James Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]. Amplified Bible Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds, says the Lord New King James AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR MIRACLE OF HEALING When you appropriate a miracle of healing either in your spirit, or in your soul (will, mind and emotions) and or in your physical body; it is absolutely imperative to continue your daily walk by faith according to the promises of God s Word. 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. New King James For we live by faith, not by sight. New International Version The path we walk is charted by faith, not by what we see with our eyes. Not only is a miracle of healing received by faith, but also must be kept by faith. In other words, you must daily nourish the seed of God s Word that you have received by faith. Let me paraphrase what I m saying about keeping your healing experience by faith use it or lose it. It is of utmost importance AFTER YOUR HEALING that you CONTINUE TO ACT ON YOUR FAITH. We must daily release our measure of faith that God has given us. Romans 12:3 according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. King James UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE AN EMEMY One of Satan s major strategies is to steal the seed of faith that a person receives from hearing and believing in the promises of God s Word, but then fails to DAILY nourish and protect God s Word of faith in their heart. Mark 4:13-20 The Parable of the Sower 13 He (Jesus) continued, Do you see how this story works? All my stories work this way. 14-15 The farmer plants the Word. Some people are like the seed that falls on the hardened soil of the road. No sooner do they hear the Word than Satan snatches away what has been planted in them. 16-17 And some are like the seed that lands in the gravel. When they first hear the Word, they respond with great enthusiasm. But there is such shallow soil of character that when the emotions wear off and some difficulty arrives, there is nothing to show for it. 18-19 The seed cast in the weeds represents the ones who hear the kingdom news (doing things God s way) but are overwhelmed with worries about all the things they have to do and all the things they want to get. The stress strangles what they heard, and nothing comes of it. 20 But the seed planted in the good earth represents those who hear the Word, embrace it (a heart that accepts it, meditates on it, acts on it by faith), and produce a harvest beyond their wildest dreams. After supernaturally receiving your healing by faith, it is crucial that you continue living daily by faith to keep your miracle of healing by nourishing and protecting the seed promises of God s Word in your heart (your spirit). Another major strategy of Satan is to steal your seed faith by attacking you with unbelief, or thoughts of doubt, or emotional fear and or physical symptoms. The temptation is to receive and believe lies contradicting God s Word. Accepting this deception will cancel out your faith and the healing power of the Holy Spirit. Surrendering or submitting to your enemy of unbelief is refusing to believe in the evidence of promises in God s Word. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. New King James Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. Amplified Bible FIGHT YOUR ENEMY SATAN WITH FAITH Submitting to unbelief (refusing to believe) is different from doubt. DOUBT is a lack of receiving faith. The answer to doubt comes from receiving and believing in God s Word. Daily fight to resist your enemy of doubt, of emotional fear and or physical symptoms. Daily learn to hear (receive) and believe in God s Word (the final authority of truth) with a resolve to release your seed faith to act on God s promises. 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. James 4:7-8 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. New King James 7 So submit yourselves to the one true God and fight against the devil and his schemes. If you do, he will run away in failure. 8 Come close to the one true God, and He will draw close to you. The Voice You must understand that you are in daily fight to keep and protect the seed of faith after you receive God s promise in your heart. 1 Peter 5:8-9 8 Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. 9 But resist him, be firm in your faith [against his attack rooted, established, immovable],... Amplified Bible When people surrender to the attacks of Satan, they forfeit living in the fullness and power of the Holy Spirit; possibly due to doubt or their lack of receiving faith to believe and daily act on the promises of God s Word. Your lethal enemy is Satan who comes as a thief to steal and or destroy what you have received from God by faith. John 10:10 A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I (Jesus) came to give life life in all its fullness. New Century Version John 8:44 for he (the devil) is a liar and the father of lies and half-truths. Amplified Bible GUARD WHAT YOU SAY One of the battle grounds to resist and fight devil is to guard the words that you speak daily. Don t be defeated by words of doubt and lies that contradict God s Word. Daily confess words of faith according to God s promises. What you say is vital to keeping your healing and victory. Proverbs 13:3 He who guards his mouth preserves his life New King James...the heart overflows in the words a person speaks; your words reveal what s within your heart. The Voice Proverbs 4:13 Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. New Century After you have received a wonderful experience of healing, don t let the enemy steal what God has done. Daily nourish your mind and heart to speak God s Word, because Satan may attack you with doubts, fear, and or physical symptoms. Resist and fight the lies of Satan s with the promises of God s Word. Otherwise, you can unknowingly permit the attacks of Satan to weaken your faith, and unbelief or worry, doubts, fear, discouragement, physical symptoms, etc. can destroy your faith. KNOW WHAT GOD PROMISES YOU Daily live in divine healing from the truth of God s Word in your heart! 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. King James Matthew 9:29 According to your faith let it be done to you. New International Version FAITH that you personally receive by hearing God s Word of truth will set you free and keep you free. John 8:32 If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you. Psalms 46:1 God is our protection and our strength. He always helps in times of trouble. The Voice Psalms 34:4 I sought the Lord [on the authority of His word], And he delivered me from all my fears. Amplified Bible Isaiah 53:4-5 4 But he took our suffering on him and felt our pain for us. We saw his suffering and thought God was punishing him. 5 But he was wounded for the wrong we did; he was crushed for the evil we did. More than any doctor, He heals your diseases. 4 He reaches deep into the pit to deliver you from death. He crowns you with unfailing love and compassion like a king. 1 Peter 2:24 by whose stripes you were healed. New King James Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? New International Version James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses],and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God it is dynamic and can have tremendous power. Amplified Bible COMMIT TO NATURAL LAWS OF HEALTH Take care of your physical health. Commit to a routine of disciplined health habits that benefit your well being. Pursue divine health not only divine healing. God holds us responsible as the caretaker of our body as well as our spirit. Obviously this requires proper nutrition, rest and appropriate exercise etc. 1 Corinthians 3:16 You realize, don t you, that you re the temple of God, and God himself is present in you? No one will get by with vandalizing God s temple, you can be sure of that. God s temple is sacred and you, remember, are the temple. The Message REINFORCE YOUR FAITH WITH BELIEVERS Seek out relationships with other faith believers who are examples for your life of faith. Matthew 18:20 Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; a no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. Keep Your Healing Page 7 of 8
When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I ll be there. The Message GIVE GOD THE GLORY After you receive a miracle of healing never fail to give God the glory. This is a major weapon to use against Satan. Giving glory to God affirms the power of God s grace that Jesus Christ provided in His death, burial and resurrection. Thanksgiving is an important way to confirm what God has done for you to triumph over Satan. True gratitude motivates you to share your victory testimony of faith. To do otherwise, exposes a failure of gratitude and permits the devil to steal what God has done. Luke 17:11-16 11-13 It happened that as he made his way toward Jerusalem, he crossed over the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he entered a village, ten men, all lepers, met him. They kept their distance but raised their voices, calling out, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us! 14-16 Taking a good look at them, he said, Go, show yourselves to the priests. They went, and while still on their way, became clean. One of them, when he realized that he was healed, turned around and came back, shouting his gratitude, glorifying God. He kneeled at Jesus feet, so grateful. He couldn t thank him enough and he was a Samaritan. The Message 1 Thessalonians 5:17-16 17 be unceasing and persistent in prayer; 18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not quench [subdue, or be unresponsive to the working and guidance of] the [Holy] Spirit. Amplified Bible Mark 5:19 Jesus said to him, Go home to your family and tell them all the great things that the Lord has done for you, and how He has had mercy on you.
