PART 1. OVERSEAS NATION OF ENGAGEMENT UPDATE a. SOLOMON ISLANDS - Ps. Titus Luther Ps. Titus and wife Aiva from PNG had been in Solomon Island for the past 18 years, had established a Foursquare Church in Lunga village 12km away from the capital Honiara and 4km from the international airport. Working continuously in partnership with Ps. Titus, Australia had faithfully financially supported the ministry to progress and advance God s kingdom through the Foursquare denomination. At the first half of 2017, the full amount of 95,000 AUD was released for the construction of a church building, although not completed due to shortness of funds, it is now the venue for City Mission Rural Training Centre, an avenue for training and learning trade, mechanical and hospitality skills and a bible school classroom. The church also operates Gospel Light Christian Academy, and endeavour to set up a medical clinic. It was timely last year that used chairs, table, and school items were donated through Ps. Gary Abberton of Lithgow. As the container shipment to Solomon Island was being facilitated, the items were temporarily stored at Victory Life Centre at Blacktown. Expression of thanks and appreciation to Ps. Paul McCarthy, church members and to Ps. Graham Baker for helping, and initiating to facilitate the shipment. The mission department did cover the cost shipment of 3,200 AUD. b. FIJI Ps. John Chand For many years in the past, Australia has been working in partnership with ps. John. Our continuing financial support to advance and grow the denomination under the leadership of Ps. John in Fiji now has 15 churches covering the capital Suva, down to Nadi, to the interior city of Lautoka, home of the main Foursquare Church. Priority to their leadership agenda is developing, training and empowering leaders to sustain the vision and the ministry work of door to door evangelism, village outreaching, and service, visitation for prayer and healing crusades. Ps. John s request is for financial support for building 3 village churches, and an invitation for an evangelistic mission team. Alongside with his ministry, Ps. John is supported by FMI missionary, Ps. David Brikley. Ps. John is always humble, generous of his appreciation and thankful for the support Australia is continually providing. c. VANUATU Ps. John Niroa Progress and advancement of the ministry have experienced stalemate due to leadership matters. Foursquare president Chief Tom had step down on December 2016, and Ps. John acted as the interim president and making effort to navigate his role with fresh ideas, plans, and direction. However, early this year 2018, the board had reinstated Chief Tom as the president. As per John Niroa, an election for the new president will be held at the August 2018 National Convention. FMI missionary, Ps. Craig Duncan left and returned to USA December 2017. d. PAPUA NEW GUINEA Fore Ps. Tofagao, and IB Clinic Ps. Tofagao though mobile contact had verbally reported that the church is growing. New people are coming in attendance and membership, which is a reason for joy and encouragement for the church members. He also mentioned his good health, capable and energetic to shepherd the flock. Aside from his quarterly financial support, a one-off 500 AUD was given for his medical expense. As to IB Clinic, 2017 praise and progress report is still waiting for the caretaker Graham TiTino for his availability to submit. e. OTHERS We continue to provide financial support to Ps. Gerald James for his evangelistic travels, which he reported was to always experience the powerful move of the Holy Spirit. The people s response followed with a deep hunger for God s Word. Kim Goodwin of Commissioned 2 Go constantly updates on the ministry s progress and victory report in areas and villages they endeavour to reach out. Village people are very responsive to God s Word seeing salvation, healing, and deliverance from different demonic strongholds. To date, under her training and strategic approach, she has 11 local full-time missionaries, and graduates of their own bible school ministering to Central Java and West Borneo.

And one day, these missionaries will come back to our churches to personally share, speak and tell stories of their experiences of people saved, baptized, healed, changed, disciple and now willing to serve through planting new churches.
