Let s learn about EFC-ER Mission Fields! I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. John 4:35 Look inside for some fun coloring pages and much more!

I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. John 4:35 When Jesus was talking about the Harvest, do you think he was talking about wheat? He was actually thinking about all the people in the world who need to know that He loves them! We all have a harvest field around us. Who do you know that maybe needs to hear about Jesus? Always, we can pray for the people in our world who need Jesus. Always, we can show the love of Jesus with a smile and an act of kindness. Sometimes, we need to tell them about Jesus. Who do you know that needs to know Jesus? What act of kindness can you do for them?

Tele Moraes serves in Brazil. Benson & Annie Sam serve in India. Victor & Lori Tovar currently serve in Panama. Frank & Betsy Carter lead in Jamaica. William & Marie Bertrand serve in Haiti and Dominican Republic. We have missionaires in many countries. The missionaries pictured here depend on our churches for most of their suppor t. Draw a line from the missionary to the country where they live and work. Tony & Agi Frei serve EFC-Hungary. Friends churches across the country also suppor t missionaries living in many other countries through EFM (Evangelical Friends Mission). The flowers show countries where we also have missionaries sharing Jesus love with EFM. Voicu & Ana Marian serve in Romania. PK & Mariama Sam serve in India. Abe & Diane Bible serve in Ukrainne & Russia. Arun & Shobha Massey serve in India. Dave & Cindy Aufrance serve in Hong Kong. Babir & Lalita Gautam serve in India. Gabriel & Suzanna Massey serve in India. Denny & Michelle Craker serve in Taiwan. Ben & Charity Kibbe serve in Thailand.

We have missionaries living and serving on islands. Can you name the missionaries living on each island? HAITI & DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: JAMAICA TAIWAN A FUN FACT: Haiti & the Dominican Republic actually share the same island!

Helping in Haiti Let s pray for our leaders in Haiti Pastor William & Marie Bertrand were born in Haiti, moved to the U.S. for many years, and moved back to Haiti to work more closely with our churches there. Friends Churches in Haiti help the people with medical clinics, schools, and churches. The children in Haiti are very poor but, they can play with some little animals that jump! Connect the dots to find out what kind of animal they can play with! The first one to finish connecting the dots can pray for the Bertrand family in Haiti! How can we pray for the children? Pray also that they will have stable families where they will feel loved and learn to love Jesus and live their lives the right way. Haitian Proverbs: The rock in the water does not know the pain of the rock in the sun. (Its hard to un der stand an oth er person s prob lems.) However bad today has been, tomorrow could be better. Did you know that families in Haiti often have big vegetable gardens? What is your favorite vegetable?

Brazil -- Flag of BRAZIL O R D E M E P ROG RE S S O Did you know... The national language of Brazil is Portuguese. The largest river in the world travels through this country, The largest rain forest in the world is also in this country. Let s color in this flag of Brazil. The planet is blue, the diamond is yellow and the outside is green. We thank Operation Mobilization, New Zealand for the use of their excellent materials for the Brazil Safari Scripture Expedition. For more information, and/or for more helpful newsletters designed for children, see their website: www.omnz.nz

God uses the many skills of our missionaries to help children around the world. W o o d w o r k i n g Woodworking is a valuable skill in every country. Can you see things in your classroom that are made of wood? Someone had to have the skills to cut, sand and fit wood together to even make your church building! Who is the most famous carpenter in the Bible? Our missionary to Romania, Voicu Marian, is teaching a woodworking class for the children in a village near their home. Let s help the children think of projects to make. First, list one item which begins with the letters listed in the box. Next, arrange the letters to make the name of their country. RACE THROUGH THE MAZE Have a contest with a friend! Who can race through this maze first? The winner gets to pray aloud for Voicu and Ana Marian. woodworking projects a m o i n r A what is the name of the country?

Friends in Panama The Tovar Family has moved to Panama - from India! Victor & Lori have two daughters: Tori and Dalia. Draw a line from India (in Aisa) to Panama (in Central America). India

Some missionary kids use alternative transportation... Which one is your favorite?

Coloring Challenge! Let s color these beautiful creatures that God created. Beautiful butterflies live in many countries. Can you think of a country that might have beautiful butterflies? Write the name of the country you want to pray for in the blank:. Now, as you color the butterfly, pray for our missionaries in that country! Parrots can be very colorful, too! Did you know that parrots live in tropical climates? Can you name three mission countries that might have parrots?

Beautiful Butterflies live everywhere on earth! Can you think a country for each letter in the word butterfly? B U T T E R F L Y 1 - Blue 2 - Orange 3 - Yellow 4 - Green 5 - Red Next, pray for each of those countries. If we have missionaries in the country you thought of, pray for them by name. If we don t have missionaries in the country you thought of, pray that the people of that country will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Ukraine Abe & Diane Bible have lived in Eastern Europe for over 40 years! They use many types of transportation to get around both Ukraine and Russia. Often, they will ride a train, a bus and even a bicycle to get to the pastors they are teaching. Decide how you would like to travel in Russia or Ukraine and draw a picture of it.

Can you identify the name of each flag s country? The first letter is provided to get you started! R T D Republic H K I H U C H S C J R

Did you know that most countries have hummingbirds?

An Extra Challenge! King David in the Old Testament used his alphabet to help him think of new ways to pray. Let s use that idea to pray for our missionaries! Can you think of words beginning with each letter of our alphabet to use as you pray for our missionaries? A b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z Great job! How many letters are in our alphabet? Now, choose a letter and word listed above to pray for each missionary family during your prayer time with your family. You could pray something different for each missionary family for 26 days in a row! Maybe you d like to share your special list with a missionary family that you pray for. Ask your church office for the address of a missionary and mail them a note with your special list.

A-Mazing Challenge! Many of our missionaries use guitars to share and lead worship in their churches. Music and help us to remember memory verses. Try having a race with your classmates. Whoever finishes the maze first gets to pick a song to sing together. In OUT
