Thank you for your support of this ministry. * The Teacher Appreciation Luncheon will be at Pine Level Elementary School at noon on Thursday, August 23 rd. Please see Jeff Holt if you would like to help with this event. * Christ Kids will be starting back up beginning in early September. Volunteers will be needed to help support the program. Copies are now available on the table beside the bulletin board. * There will be a meeting on Sunday August 26 th at 5 pm for all volunteers that will be helping with Christ Kids Program to review the materials, etc. * On Sunday, August 26 th at 2:00 pm we will have our annual Prayer Walk at Pine Level Elementary School. Everyone is invited to come and pray for our children and school staff. * There will be a special Dinner Meeting on August, 30 th at Parkside at 6:30 pm for all current Deacons, newly elected Deacons, and their spouses. This meeting will take the place of the regular meeting scheduled in September. * August 26 th September 2 is the Week of Prayer for NC Missions. Our goal for this mission emphasis is $1,600.00. Any department or committee making a request for budget funds beyond their current budget funding should submit a written request indicating the amount needed and give a brief description of the reason for the additional funding and submit to the Finance Committee.
