My Dear Friends and Partners, It has been quite hectic since I sent my last newsletter that delayed it this time. I rejoice in what God is doing through 3 of our Children Homes, 3 Bible Schools, Asram for widows & destitute, church planters in villages, and TV and Monthly Magazine ministries. We also help 110 rural PKs (Pastor Kids) in their schooling. We have 3 major centers at Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam in India with 3 Regional Directors as leaders. The following are the two of them reporting from their territory. Field Report from Visakhapatnam, India, Territory: Pastor Silas & Padma Siripurapu, Regional Directors. silasindia@yahoo.com; Padmavisakha@gmail.com Warm greetings to you all from Visakha, the beautiful Beach City. It has been exciting to see God moving in all age groups in Visakha territory. We are conducting two Sunday services in the city. Scores of Hindus are coming to our worship services with their desperate physical and spiritual needs. Two weeks ago, a rich Hindu woman approached us from the doctors colony with her distressed financial need. An IT couple has pleaded us to have a cottage prayer meeting in their apartment for the wellbeing of their family and business. We commit all of them into the hands of our Lord to intervene and bless them. What a provision we have in Jesus that the effective and fervent prayers avail much!! Maranatha Children Home at Visakhapatnam We have 81 kids in Maranatha Children Home at Visakha growing in a Godly Home. Everyone has a painful story behind the orphan, poor and needy boys and girls. However, we believe that God has a wonderful plan and purpose for their lives. Here are the two stories of fine kids that grew up in our Home. Amar Sekhar is a brilliant young man joined in our Home 7 years ago when I started the ministries at Visakha. He is a Hindu and his mother was mentally ill because his father abandoned her. He is a very obedient and studious young boy which enabled him to get highest score in the final year of school. He got 581 out of 600, which is the highest score and stood first in the High School. The school honored him to hoist the national flag on Independence Day. Few weeks ago his mother died but he is very confident and courageous young man. He wants to be a Computer Engineer. Tejaswini Bobba is a smart girl. She lost her Hindu parents for AIDS. Now she is finishing her Bachelor s Degree. She has been saved, baptized and become a witness of God s Grace. Her

March 30, 2013 Page 2.. heartfelt desire is to help other orphan and poor children like herself. A multi-national software company recently selected her for a job in the college campus interviews after the completion of her college degree. She felt so happy more than ever before in her life. We are overwhelmed with joy when we see the fruits of our labor. Glory to God!! Our Bible College is a place to repair and prepare young men and women for the harvest in the land. Our committed, dedicated and ordained faculty is molding the raw material to be a finished product. At the end of this academic year 50 students will finish their courses to be active in the field work. Shaik Baji Babu is from a Muslim family. He was a rejected young man as he always caused pain to his widowed mother. God has dealt with him and he has accepted Jesus into his life. He is now undergoing the training in our Bible College for future ministry. The discipline and the encouragement of the faculty made him to realize that he has a purpose to live and God has a great plan for him. He will graduate with B. Th soon. He wants to plant a church in the city of Hyderabad. George Wilson Mosa is from a Christian family in Visakha. He has been in church all his life with exposure to Christian worship and teaching. As a religious boy he has an encounter with Jesus after failing in his college academics. His parents encouraged him to join in our Bible College. God s Word got hold of him to search and correct his attitude in order to build Christ-like character in him. Our chapel services have impacted him to build an intimate relationship with God and fellow men and become a powerful witness. He wants to equip himself more and develop his potentiality by attending an English Medium College. This 21-year old young man will definitely become a leader in future ministry. We are grateful to God for appointing us to play a role in shaping of the kids as well as young people like these guys. Field Report from Vijayawada, India, Territory: Pastor Viswa Prasad & Madhu Latha Alluri, Regional Directors. prasadalluri@yahoo.com & madhulatha69@gmail.com My Dear Friends, Praise God for His blessings flowing from Generation to Generation. People are living in the state of confusion. Their lives are filled with fear of pain, ridicule, loneliness, frustration, helplessness, sickness, and uncertainty. They need a helping hand. Serving God and Country with zeal is a great honor and blessing for God s servants like us. God is doing miracles thru His servants who lay their lives in sacrifice for His ministry. We see His Kingdom advancing in our territory.

March 30, 2013 Page 3.. God is blessing our congregation with many spiritual and material blessings in the central church at Vijayawada which we are pastoring. I have baptized 83 converts this year. I do a Baptismal Service every month. Divya, a demon-possessed girl, started behaving abnormally hating God and prayer. The demon from Divya spoke to her mother saying that it was going to take Divya s life. Her mother realized that it was demonic voice and not her daughter s. She called us immediately for help. We visited her home and prayed for the girl in the power of the Holy Spirit. God has miraculously delivered her from the evil spirit. A believer s son was sick with Tuberculosis, which the doctors diagnosed being in its last stage. He was dying as he threw up blood. His mother asked us to pray. Her faith in God grew as we encouraged her with God s Word. We prayed to God to have mercy on the young man. God has graciously healed him that the medical reports revealed that he had no symptoms of the disease. The entire family became the followers of Jesus by the great miracle God has done. Hallelujah!! Revathi, 20 years, is in the 3rd year of Civil Engineering course. She came to the Children Home from Pastor Moses Choudary s native village at the age of 3. She goes to college daily by local city bus. A car hit the group of 5 college girls including Revathi while waiting at a bus stop. One of them was killed instantly andtwo of them had fractures on legs and hands while a girl broke her backbone. God spared Revathi with minor injuries on her head. She was rushed to the hospital and the reports showed that she was perfectly normal and there is nothing to worry about the injuries. The driver of the car is a famous orthopedic doctor. Revathi was shocked at the death of her dearest friend. After proper care and counseling of the mentors in the Children Home she is now doing well. She gave a very moving testimony in our central church at Vijayawada expressing her gratitude to God and her commitment to help the Children Home kids. It shows that God s Grace abounds in crisis time. Glory to God!! Children Home with 145 Boys & Girls at Vijayawada : The stories behind these orphan and poor kids are heart-rending. We, however, are very happy to play a little part in sheltering, feeding, clothing, schooling, and shaping up of their lives so that God s plan and purpose will become reality in their lives. Deevena Kalyani, 13 years, is in the 8th grade. She came to the children home at the age of 5. Right after Deevena was born, her father deserted her mother as she was ailing with Kidney problem. A Pastor friend of the family introduced Jesus to her and she had accepted Him and later was healed. Deevena got saved while studying 5th grade. She maintains close relationship with

Page 4.. God and feels as though she is talking with her father. She scored 88% in one of the mid semester exams. Deevena got 1 st prize in Bible quiz competition conducted from the book of Hebrews. Nearly 18 churches participated in this event. By the encouragement and guidance of mentors she stood as a winner among 150 competitors. Recently Deevena suffered from abdominal pain (Ovarian Torsion) and the doctor advised a surgery for her. The local church and the children home boys and girls prayed for her and God in his mercy intervened. This miracle is a testimony to the doctors who treated her. She wants to go into the ministry in future. Iswarya Bhavani Kesana, 13 years, is in the 7 th grade. She came to the Children Home at the age of 7. She has a brother. She lost her mother when she was very young. Her father works as a driver in a corporate college and could not support both the children. He did not like Iswarya because of her being a girl. So, he brought her to our Children Home by the advice of his boss. Rejection by her father caused anger in Iswarya against him which reflected in her rejecting everybody around including our Children Home. So, she jumped off the balcony of our building to show her anger toward her father. We thought that we might lose her. However, God has been kind to spare her life. She recovered in a month and experienced God s Love in our Home. During the recent mid-semester exams Iswarya scored 87%. Her favorite subject is Maths in which she made 96%. She is learning discipline, good manners, and obeying the staff in the Home. She has accepted Jesus and been attending Sunday school regularly. Iswarya wants to become an Engineer in future. Vijaya Challa, 13 years, is in the 8 th grade. She is the only child to her parents. Her father used to work as a daily sales man selling clothes from house to house. Vijaya s mother died during her 2 nd pregnancy. The girl s father was upset psychologically and left Vijaya with her grandmother. Vijaya was taken care of by the grandparents until her grandpa died. The grandma was unable to provide the basic needs of the girl. A believer brought her to us and we took her in 5 years ago. Vijaya is doing academically good and scored 85% in the recent mid-sem exams. She is growing in discipline, mannerisms and obedience. She became sick frequently with fever and once with Yellow Jaundice. She got healed and recovered quickly by God s grace. She has accepted Jesus and got saved at the age of 11. She is doing well in all aspects. She has a good voice and leads the children choir during worship. She wants to get higher education and support the needy kids like her.

March 30, 2013 Page 5.. Maranatha Bible School at Vijayawada:Viswa Prasad Alluri, Director Established in 1984 this Bible School has trained young people who planted hundreds of churches in the villages. Currently there are 80 students who are being trained by dedicated faculty. We are also planning for summer gospel camps in villages. We also have Summer Bible School with an intensive program for 40 days that secular students and homemakers may get basic knowledge in God s Word. We have cream of the crop here in our Bible School. They will impact thousands of lives in future and establish churches. Suresh Kethana hails froman orthodox Hindu family. He got saved after his friend led him to the church at Vijayawada. He is the only child to his parents and led them to Jesus. God called him into the ministry while working as an accountant in a Government firm. He left the job even though he is the only bread winner in the family. He is now in the 3rd year Bachelor of Theology. He is an intelligent young man dedicated to serve the Lord. Suresh has been a model to other students. He was unable to forgive others but after coming to the Bible College, he understood God s forgiveness and adopted the same principle now. Narasimha Naik accepted Christ as his savior from Lambadi tribe, which does not have any alphabet to their language. He wanted to become a police officer and hence was selected for training to join in the police department. But God has a different purpose for his life and called him into his ministry. He obeyed and dedicated himself for the ministry. He will graduate this year with Bachelor Degree from our Bible School at Vijayawada. By the guidance of the Holy Spirit he recently started planting a church in a small town which has 9 people now. Sunitha is a 2nd year student in our Bible School. She was born in an orthodox Hindu family. When she was young her family accepted Jesus by a miracle that God has done in her grandfather s sickness. While she was still a Christian in name only God touched and called her to His ministry. She finished her secular education and came to our Bible School in 2011. She has been changed and strengthened by God s word in the class room training and gospel camps. She is keen on building Christlike character by getting closer to God. She started ministry in a village as God has given vision while undergoing the Bible training. Now 25 people are attending the worship services. Maranatha Asram for widows & destitute at Vijayawada Surapaneni Subbarao was a farmer living with wife and 5 children in a small village. His family was miserably affected by many deceases and he lost his wife and 4 daughters one after another

Page 6.. to Tuberculosis, Jaundice and heart problems. His finances were meager to get medical help. At last he was left with his 5th daughter. After couple of years he later got remarried, which his daughter didn t like. So, she left him and got married and never came back to care for him. His second wife died two years ago. He is all alone at the age of 91, lost his eye sight, with nobody to care for him. I,Viswa Prasad, went to his village to preach. He told me his story and asked for help. So, I took him into our Asram at Vijayawada a year ago where he is happy now. Tummala Vanajakshi is an 85 year old woman who came to Ashram in September 2012. She lost her husband 15 years ago with kidney failure. She worked hard to bring up his only son. She loved him so much and dreamed for his bright future. Her son got married and he was addicted to bad habits, badly influenced by his friends. He became very irresponsible and stopped caring for his family and constantly abused them. She got vexed of her son s behavior. She left her son without intimation as she heard about our Asram and asked me to give her a place to live for the rest of her life and that I did. Here in Ashram, she was overwhelmed by God s love and the care and concern shown toward her. She started helping other widows, who were not able to feed and dress on their own. Now, she is living in peace and in a healthy environment with a hope that God would touch her son through her prayers. What a privilege to care for the elderly widows & destitute!! Madhava Rao, 70 years, has a daughter and a son. He lost his wife very early in marriage due to Leukemia. After his daughter got married and birthed a boy she died accidently. Madhava Rao took the responsibility of his grandson which his own son didn t like. So, he threw his father out of his house. Madhava Rao heard about Maranatha children home at Vijayawada and admitted his grandson. We took him into our Asram for destitute. His grandson grew up in our Home and did well in school and college. He got a job now after getting his degree in Engineering. They are very happy for the work of the Lord in both of their lives. Madhava Rao accepted Christ as his savior and took water baptism in 2002. His son and daughterin-law never came to visit him all these years. Yet he is happy to lead a peaceful life in Asram along with others. Prabhavathi Thummati, 75 years, lost her Hindu husband due to bronchitis. She has two daughters and lost both of them one after another due to illness and suicide. She became an orphaned widow with nobody to care for her. Seeing her pathetic situation a neighbor brought her to our Asram in 2006. She feels at home as she experiences the Love of God.

Page 7.. She heard about Jesus during daily devotionals and accepted Him as her personal savior and took water baptism in September 2007. She is getting 3 meals aday, shelter, food, and clothing. She also gets medical support for Hypertension. All her needs are provided in the Asram. She is experiencing the love of God through His servant Pastor Moses Choudary. She doesn t have enough words to express her gratitude to God and our ministry. How God has been providing month after month to operate this ministry in India has been a moving story for 30 years! I ve seen many bumps & ditches and UPs & DOWNs in this path. I have learned to adjust when we do not have enough to meet the needs in the ministry. Thank The Lord for His Protection and Providence. Address in USA to send gifts I wanted to present an opportunity for your generosity to help and shape up others thru our organization.
