What were the goals for the last conference year? Our goals were to have Health and Wellness, encourage young women to join WMS, Educational Seminars, Feed the homeless and supply clothing for the homeless, participate in Social Action program and Assist women who have been incarcerated. What was accomplished on the annual conference level? Held Health and Wellness seminar, Hats off for Women s Presentation from Mary Ellen Locher Breast Center, Memorial Hospital. Study of WMS Constitution and By-law by the members. AME Works Day prepared lunch for Friendship Haven Nursing Home. In keeping with the theme Kim Strong, Water, Quality Public Information Specialist, Keeping Chattanooga s Creeks and Streams Healthy. Presented 200 Women in Red and Men in Black, East Tennessee addressed gift cards for Angel Tree to be given to children whose parents are incarcerated. Transportation provide to doctors appointments, a voter s registration drive, food and clothing to a Help Center. Bottled water and food donated to Community Kitchen and Food Banks. Do you have your goals for this coming year? If so, please list. Continue to hold Health and Wellness and Educational seminars, continue to encourage young women to Join WMS. Help Angel Tree whose children parents are incarcerated and women who are incarcerated. We will continue to feed the homeless and clothing to the less fortunate. Have a joint get together with Love Fellowship Sisters Who Care helping them spread the love of Jesus Christ.
