Thanks go out to Susie Conrad for her assistance in putting on the musical at Christmas and covering for me last week when Rob and I took the weekend to visit his parents. LIFE AT WESTMINSTER Westminster Church garden! Be on the lookout for the addition of raised gardening beds to the south lawn in celebration of the bounty of God s good earth, and in support of Winnipeg Harvest s Grow-A-Row program. If you are interested in sharing your gardening knowledge (or learning about gardening from others), working together, getting your hands dirty and greening your thumbs, or if you d like more information about the vegetable garden plans, please contact Allison Fenske at aemfenske@gmail.com or 204-981-5205. We re also happy to accept (and could really use!) donations of your extra started plants or seeds, and other raw materials for our garden (topsoil, lumber, gravel). Let the good times grow! The Westminster Book Club is rescheduled to meet this coming Wednesday, May 29th at 7 p.m. in the library. We will be discussing "Infidel" by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, as well as the books we will read next year. All are welcome.

Dinner at DeLuca's! - The Membership and Pastoral Care Committee will be hosting a fellowship and fundraising dinner on Friday, October 4th at DeLuca's Restaurant. Come partake of a wonderful Italian meal while enjoying the company of your church friends! Doors open at 6 PM, with dinner served at 7 PM. Order tickets today after the service in the Fellowship (Lecture) Hall. Cost is $25.00 per ticket for adults, $15.00 per ticket for children.
