On Sunday 8th April 2017, Melbourne Jamaat Australia invited all momineen and mominaat with family to attend the Nazr e Imam Jaffar Sadiq (as) at Panjtan Imambargah. Before nazr, a short program was organised to encourage kids to recite manqabat Program started with Surah Yaseen recited by Zahra Batool d/o Abbas Ali. Then Sarah d/o Mohammad Ali recited Manqabat followed by Misbah Sabir d/o Sabir Sunasara. Then Zainab Fatima d/o Ali Manjee recited Manqabat followed by Sakina Fatima d/o Raza Gulani. Then Ali Naqi s/o Mohammad Ali recited followed by Mir Waris Ali Rizvi s/o Syed Hasan Askari Rizvi recited a surah and last reciter, Afaq Bangash s/o Altaf Bangash recited Dua e Faraj. The program concluded with Ziyarat e Warisa by Munawar Ali Gulani. Zahra Batool d/o Abbas Ali Sarah d/o Mohammad Ali Misbah Sabir d/o Sabir Sunasara Nazr was then served. Melbourne Jamaat Australia would like to thank momineen and mominaat for their participation in large numbers. Nazr was sponsored by a large number of momineen. The funds collected covered the cost of the program. The purpose is to provide facilities to momineen ranging from Sadqa (Charity) to sponsoring an individual for a daily meal. 2050 Vision Conference JULY 2017 Without a clear direction and long term plan, a community can never progress and prosper. Ramadan Preparation: tips to prepare your family for Ramadan 01. Buy all necessities for the month of Ramadan before Ramadan so you can spend less time during the holy month rushing around. You can be more focused on your religious rituals and spiritual development. Everyone in the family, even the kids, can participate, writing a shopping list, preparing some meals to be stored in the freezer. 02. If you have gotten into bad sleeping habits throughout the year, start readjusting now so you can wake up for Fajr prayer at awaal e waqat. 03. Reduce TV watching and prepare the family for the new spirit of Ramadan. Engage with your kids more and more in creative activities that remind them of Ramadan. (Suggested activities including reading the moral story books in group). 04. Plan ahead for the time you are spend at home in order not to lose the balance between your responsibility as a parent to supervise the children's studies and your engagement in religious practices such as reading Quran and praying Salat. 05. Prepare your kids before Ramadan that they have to help you more in housework and in setting the table and preparing the Iftar. Relate their action with the notion of Sadaqah and good deeds.
