In todays Gospel Jesus reminds us that these two commandments are what should govern our every action. Love is a choice, a decision, a commitment to do things. What sets us apart as Christians is when we act on this love regardless of any strong feelings we may have for another person. When we feed the hungry, clothe the naked, seek out the lonely and be there for the stranger. This is real love. Have a blessed, worshipful and loving week. Fr Gerry This weekend we will be having a second collection for Empowering Vulnerable Children ( EVC ) Uganda. EVC works with desperately poor children in order to provide them with a future through education. Judi Fawcett, a Trustee, will give the appeal talk.
