To make it more challenging, do not allow them to talk as they line up in order. End the game by asking the kids to line up by age. Place the crown on the youngest child s head. Say: We do not normally think of the youngest person in a group as the leader. But God can use anyone, no matter their size or age. Instructions: (1) Give each child a printout of the arrows and have them write ways to be a good friend on them. Allow them to decorate their arrows. (2) Give each child a piece of construction paper and have them make it into a quiver. (3) Have each child punch a hole in the ends of the piece of construction paper and tie the string through it to make a handle. Say: Friends are a gift from God. Everyone needs friends. In today s Bible story, God gave David a very good friend.
