Selective Sluggardliness e underlying message of Proverbs is that while you may be doing fine in nine out of ten areas of life, it is that one area the tenth area le unattended, that will diminish or destroy your life. Selective Sluggardliness 1. IGNORING REALITY: When I avoid problem areas in my life, I have slipped into sluggardliness. Avoidance: What, me worry? A sluggard doesn t plow in season; so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing. Proverbs 20: 4
