CALL TO CONFESSION COMMUNITY PRAYER OF CONFESSION Heavenly Father, on this festive day of rest, we come before You confessing that we often abandon Your holy Sabbath. We remember the words of our Savior: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Forgive us for not following Your commands, and for not finding our rest in You. PRAYER OF PERSONAL CONFESSION ASSURANCE OF GOD S FORGIVENESS * RESPONSE You Are My All in All... Jernigan * AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles Creed John Goodale I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.
