In the Footsteps of Montfort in the forest of MERVENT FAR FROM THIS WORLD IN THIS HERMITAGE SAINT LAURENT-SUR-SÈVRE, FRANCE - The Montfortian Marian Fraternity or in French Fraternité Mariale Montfortaine (FMM) of Saint Laurent-sur-Sèvre holds their monthly meeting every 2nd Saturday of the month, to pray, to celebrate and to live a fraternal moment. After spending a day with Mary in May, we met again on Saturday, June 9, in the Footsteps of Montfort at the forest of Mervent. We were welcomed by a friend of Wisdom, a guardian of the place. Then we sat near the Grotto, a place of hermitage of Father de Montfort. The forest of Mervent had captivated Fr. De Montfort by its deep solitude, its steep rocks and the majesty of its trees. In this desert he sought tranquillity, peace, contact with God where he felt the need between two parish missions. It is here that he composed the Hymn 157: New Hymn on SOLITUDE. "The eloquent silence, of rocks and forests only preach peace, breathe only innocence. Far from the world, at this hermitage, let s go into hiding to serve God." KSM MOUNT ZION, INDONESIA Currently, there are 34 active members. The attendance rate of members during meetings is between 26 and 30 people CIMAHI, INDONESIA - Kerabat Santo Montfort (KSM) or in English, the Relatives of Montfort, in the city of Cimahi, Indonesia, already has four groups that have completed the Totus Tuus Journey, the preparation for the consecration to Jesus Christ through Mary, in the Holy Spirit. After the consecration, all four groups gather as one for the monthly formation meetings to emulate the Virgin Mary in the spirit of Montfort. The monthly meetings are animated by the Montfort Missionaries from the Provincial House which is located in Gunung Kencana, Bandung. Currently, there are 34 active members. ASSOCIATION OF MARY QUEEN OF ALL HEARTS NATIONAL CENTER RWANDA INDABO ZA MARIYA KIBEHO, RWANDA - On June 24, 2018, at the Marian Shrine of Kibeho (Rwanda), there were twenty five new members of the group "Indabo za Mariya (the Flowers of Mary)" who made their consecration to Jesus through Mary according to the method of Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort. The group, existed since 2006, is present in five out of nine dioceses in Rwanda. Currently, it has over two hundred adult members and one hundred and fifty young people. Remember that this group was accepted in the Association Mary Queen of All Hearts on December 8, 2009. The preparation for consecration begins in January-February for the newcomers who have expressed their desire to walk with others in the Montfortian spirituality and ends with the consecration, which is usually done in the place of appearances of the "Mother of the Word" in Kibeho. The activities of the group: a. Propagation of Marian spirituality in their living and working environment b. Organization of the monthly pilgrimages to Kibeho c. Commitment in their parishes d.
