(13:9) Will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? (13:11) You shall be blind... until the appointed time (13:11) [See Romans 11:25] John, departing from them, returns to Jerusalem (13:14) Proclaiming pardon & justification to the Jews 13:14 Paul addresses the Jews in the synagogue at Antioch, Pisidia (13:14) To us (Jews and those among you fearing God) was the word of salvation given (13:26) Through this One is being announced to you the pardon of sins, and from all from which you could not be justified in the law of Moses... everyone believing is being justified (13:38) Turning to the nations 13:42 Paul is invited back, but the Jews oppose him on the coming sabbath (13:42) To you first was it necessary that the word of God be spoken. (13:46) Yet, since, in fact, you are thrusting it away, and are judging yourselves not worthy of eonian life, lo! we are turning to the nations. (13:47 For thus the Lord has directed us: I have apointed Thee for a light of the nations (13:47) On hearing this the nations rejoiced... and they believe, whoever were set for life eonian (13:48) In the synagogue in Iconium 14:1 A vast multitude of both Jews & Greeks believe (14:1) The stubborn Jews provoke the nations against them (14:2) Signs and miracles accompany the word (14:3) The city is divided... Paul is forced to flee (14:4) Judaizers promote circumcision 15:1 Teaching that circumcision is necessary for salvation (15:1) Paul & Barnabas go to Jerusalem concerning this question (15:2) [Paul went to Jerusalem in accord with a revelation Galatians 2:2] Some from the sect of Pharisees insist they must be circumcised and keep the law (15:5) Peter: Why are you trying to place a yoke on them which neither our fathers nor we are strong enough to bear? (15:10) Through the grace of the Lord Jesus are we believing, to be saved in a manner even as they (15:11)

Lydia s heart was opened 16:14 Paul spoke, and Lydia heard... whose heart the Lord opens up to heed what is spoken by Paul (16:14) Paul & Silas in jail 16:22 An earthquake opens the doors and releases the bonds (16:26) To the jailer: Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household (16:31) In the synagogue at Thessalonica 17:1 As was Paul s custom, he entered the synagogue and on three sabbaths he argues with them from the scriptures... This One is the Christ (17:2) Some persuaded... a multitude of the reverent Greeks and a number of foremost women (17:4) The Jews are jealous and force Paul out of Thessalonica (17:5) In the synagogue at Berea 17:10 Received the word in eagerness, examining the scriptures to see if it is so (17:11) Jews from Thessalonica come and force Paul out of Berea (17:13) Athens (The Areopagus) 17:15 To Whom you are ignorantly devout, this One I am announcing to you (17:24) Condoning times of ignorance, God is now charging mankind everywhere to repent, as He assigns a day to be judging the inhabited earth in righteousness... (17:30) Corinth 18:1 Argued in the synagogue every sabbath... certifying to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ (18:4) At their resisting... Jerusalem 21:15 Opposed by tens of thousands among the Jews who have believed, and are inherently zealous for the law (21:20) Paul s arrest and trials 21:27 Paul is arrested (21:27) Paul addresses the Sanhedrin (23:1) Hearing before Felix (24:1) Hearing before Festus (25:6) Hearing before King Agrippa (25:23) Paul describes his commission: To open their eyes, to turn them about from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God, for them to get a pardon of sins and an allotment among those who have been hallowed by faith that is in Me. (26:18) I reported that they are to be repenting and turning back to God, angaging in acts worthy of repentance (26:20) The trip to Rome 27:1 Shipwrecked at Melita (28:1) Paul permitted to remain by himself together with the soldier who guarded him (28:16) Paul calls for the foremost of the Jews 28:17 Because of the expectation of Israel this chain is lying about me (28:20) Setting a day, more came to him... to whom he expounded, certifying the kingdom of God, besides persuading them concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses and the prophets from morning till dusk (28:23) Some believed... others disbelieved... disagreements ensued (28:25) Let it be known to you, then, that to the nations was dispatched this salvation of God, and they will hear (28:28) Paul here quoted from Isaiah 6:9,10 just as Jesus did in Matthew 13:14 as the kingdom evangel was opposed and He began to speak only using parables. Paul remained in Rome for two years, heralding the kingdom of God, and teaching that which concerns the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, unforbidden. (28:30) Bob Evely 2006 www.graceevangel.org
