The True Passover? This year for Pesach, are you planning on slaughtering a Passover lamb and smearing your home with the blood? Are you REALLY? Have you REALLY thought about it? Have you REALLY prayed about it? Have you TRULY searched out Abba's will about it? Have you studied and shown yourself approved? Do you search the scriptures daily, or are you just following along? Are you blown around with every wind of doctrine, or are you rooted in the faith once delivered? There is a teaching being spread around, about a True Passover. The title is clearly deceiving it is designed to create doubt a True Passover versus what? Obviously, it is insinuated that only by agreeing and complying with this teaching, can someone observe Passover in the right manner and intent. There is so much more to the Appointed Times than just the physical ordinances! There is a deep spiritual meaning to each one and they have to be observed within the bounds of the right spiritual understanding to fully realize and understand what they represent. The Appointed Times tell us the story of what YHVH is doing and how He is bringing it about, from start to finish. You MUST understand that! You have to look at and understand the whole story that is being told and illustrated. The Passover Lamb was representative of Yeshua HaMashiach. The sacrifice of Yeshua is one area where people should be VERY CAREFUL! When you start meddling with The Messiah's sacrifice, you had better tread VERY, VERY CAREFULLY! You had better be working things out with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12 12 So that, my beloved, as you always obeyed not only in my presence, but now much rather in my absence work out your own deliverance with fear and trembling, The Pesach of the Exodus was a special event and it was not meant to be repeated in the same way again. Scripture makes that clear...there was one set of instructions for that first Passover (Exodus 12:1-20) and another set of instructions for future observances of that event (Leviticus 23:5-8, Numbers 9:2-6, Deuteronomy 16:1-8). Notice that there is no mention of Yisrael marking their dwellings with blood after the first Passover! Why? They had already been separated out; they had already been passed over! That particular Passover could only occur in that way one time! YHVH was bringing His people out of a system that had them enslaved and oppressed. Death was going through that land and if any of the Israelites were found outside of their homes, and not under the protection of the blood of the lamb, they would be killed just as the Mitzrites (Egyptians). The Mitzrites trusted in their false gods

to deliver them and YHVH was proving that He is the true living Elohim! He made a mockery of the false gods that they worshipped and the Mitzrites and their gods were powerless before YHVH. What is the one obvious difference with the Exodus Passover and the Passovers that followed? A destroyer came through the land at the Exodus Passover and that destroyer came from YHVH! Is there a destroyer coming through the land every year at Passover in our time NO! The Exodus Passover event is a clear picture of being under the sacrifice and blood of the Messiah! That first Passover event was a picture of what Yeshua would do and fulfill in the future, even though Israel did not understand or see that. The sacrifice of Yeshua, the TRUE Passover Lamb was also a one-time event that will not be repeated! It could only occur that way one time. There is a direct parallel here! If we were to continue marking our homes with the blood of the Pesach, surely that important detail would have been included in the instructions YHVH gave us for future observances! YHVH laid everything out in detail for us to follow why would He leave out the marking of our homes with blood, if He wanted us to continue to follow that pattern? The future observance of Passover was to be a memorial, or remembrance of the original event. When Israel crossed over the Yarden (Jordan) into the promised land, the first thing they did was to keep Passover. Why is there no mention of marking anything with the blood of the lambs? Because that event was over, they had already been passed over and come out of Egypt (the world, sin), no destroyer was going to come into their camp. This first Passover that they celebrated in the land of their inheritance was very important. The crossing over of the Yarden actually represented the crossing over from this life into eternal life and the land flowing with milk and honey, represented the Kingdom of YHVH. Surely if the marking with blood was still required, it would have been done here! The Exodus Passover was a physical Passover. Israel supplied the lambs, they slaughtered the lambs, they marked their homes with the blood, they made themselves ready, they confined themselves in their homes and the Egyptians gave them their wealth (representative of the treasure we are storing up in the Kingdom). The Passover that Yeshua became the sacrifice, was a spiritual Passover. YHVH supplied everything through Yeshua. Man provided nothing to add to the sacrifice of Yeshua HaMashiach. That is an important distinction, because our works can do nothing for us. We must have works and we have to live Torah, but it is the sacrifice that brings us life! If we continue to mark our dwelling places with the blood of a Passover Lamb, then what does that say about how we value and understand the sacrifice of Yeshua HaMashiach? Who and what are we depending on to provide the redemption for our sin? Can the blood of a lamb save us? Hebrews 10:11-14

11 And indeed every priest stands day by day doing service, and repeatedly offering the same slaughter offerings which are never able to take away sins. 12 But He, having offered one slaughter offering for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of Elohim, 13 waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet. 14 For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being set apart. Does it make sense to paint your house with the blood of a lamb that has no power and ability to do anything in and of itself? Yeshua could only give Himself as a sacrifice ONCE and we are PASSED OVER by that sacrifice when we come under its protection. If you continue to kill a Passover lamb every year and mark your home with the blood, what does statement does that make about your faith? He gave Himself once for all. Hebrews 7:26-27 26 For it was fitting that we should have such a High Priest kind, innocent, undefiled, having been separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens, 27 who does not need, as those high priests, to offer up slaughter offerings day by day, first for His own sins and then for those of the people, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself. Think about it... There is still going to be a final fulfillment of Passover and that will happen when we pass over into the Kingdom of YHVH. Yeshua spoke about a future fulfillment of Passover on the very night that He was betrayed and arrested. Luke 22:14-16 14 And when the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve emissaries with Him. 15 And He said to them, With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering, 16 for I say to you, I shall certainly not eat of it again until it is filled in the reign of Elohim. Three is the number of finality in scripture, so this fulfillment of Passover, when those who inherit eternal life pass over into the Kingdom of YHVH, will be the final fulfillment of the Passover. Everything that YHVH does has a purpose and meaning, and Passover is very symbolic. It is extremely important, because the sacrifice of Yeshua is integral to the meaning and fulfillment of the observance. These false teachings and false teachers have to be marked and exposed for what they are! This teaching denies the sacrifice of Yeshua, by continuing to seek protection through the blood of a physical lamb. If you physically mark your home with

the blood of a lamb, you are essentially denying the covering that Yeshua s sacrifice provided for you that is VERY SERIOUS! Yeshua shed His blood and took the place of the Passover Lamb forever! Yeshua fulfilled Passover and we are passed over from being destroyed by accepting that sacrifice and being covered by that blood. People are being led astray and they are going to suffer for it. Do not be deceived! We are to separate ourselves from those who deny Yeshua and His sacrifice. If we condone false teaching and those who bring it, we will share in their fate 2 John 1:7-11 7 Because many who are leading astray went out into the world who do not confess יהושע Messiah as coming in the flesh. This one is he who is leading astray and the anti-messiah. 8 See to yourselves, that we do not lose what we worked for, but that we might receive a complete reward. 9 Everyone who is transgressing and not staying in the teaching of Messiah does not possess Elohim. The one who stays in the teaching of Messiah possesses both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house nor greet him, 11 for he who greets him shares in his wicked works. There is more than one way to deny Yeshua it does not have to be an outright denial. False teaching can very deceptively deny Yeshua and His sacrifice for us. Now is the time to learn and put into practice wisdom and discernment. We are facing some tough times ahead and you need to make yourselves ready now! YHVH says that He will test you. Deuteronomy 13:1-4 1 When there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he shall give you a sign or a wonder, 2 and the sign or the wonder shall come true, of which he has spoken to you, saying, Let us go after other mighty ones which you have not known and serve them, 3 do not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for יהוה your Elohim is trying you to know whether you love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being. 4 Walk after יהוה your Elohim and fear Him, and guard His commands and obey His voice, and serve Him and cling to Him. Do not fool yourself into thinking that you cannot be deceived! Yeshua said if possible even the very elect will be deceived. We have to put all of our faith and trust in YHVH and His Son that is the only way that we will prevail and make it through whatever we have to face before Yeshua s return. Please prayerfully go before YHVH, humble yourself before Him and ask for guidance and direction as to how to observe the Pesach. DO NOT go before Him with

any preconceptions or ideas already in mind as to what you will do. Use the discernment of the Spirit let HIM guide you. It is so IMPORTANT! It is the beginning of the Appointed Times and the start of His Plan. You MUST understand this and get it right, for everything else to make sense and fall into its proper order. People of YHVH time is short, make yourselves ready! Please share this with anyone who is struggling with this issue and is unsure how to observe Pesach properly. YHVH bless you, as you seek His truth and look to Him for TRUE guidance and wisdom in observing His Appointed Times. NO ONE is going to be standing with you as you face YHVH and give account for yourself, it will be you alone you must answer for what you do. Shalom Copyright 2011 Jeff L Mills www.haemet.org
