Welcomes you to your Sabbath Service! Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Mark 2:27, 28 And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath. Ha azinu Give Ear & Moses Song Deuteronomy 32:1-43/2 Samuel 22:1-22:51/Acts 27,28 Pastor Mark Biltz 09/27/2014 Tishrei 03, 5774 During service we take a 20 minute break at approximately 10:50AM. The 2 nd part of the service starts with worship and is followed with the conclusion of the teaching. Please return quietly & promptly in respect of the sanctuary. Thank you! (AKJV) Zechariah 7:11-13 But they refused to listen, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. Yes, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts has sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts. Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, said the LORD of hosts: (AKJV) Deuteronomy 31:28-30 Gather to me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. And Moses spoke in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended. (AKJV) Revelations 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:1 Give ear, O you heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. (AKJV) Isaiah 1:2-4 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD has spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel does not know, my people do not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger, they are gone away backward. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:3,4 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe you greatness to our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Shema Haftarah: (AKJV) 2Samuel 22:1-4 And David spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised:so shall I be saved from my enemies. (AKJV) 2Samuel 22:7-11 In my distress I called on the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet. And he rode on a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen on the wings of the wind. (AKJV) 2Samuel 22:31-34 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God? God is my strength and power: and he makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like hinds' feet: and sets me on my high places. (AKJV) 2Samuel 22:35,36 He teaches my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms. You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your gentleness has made me great. (AKJV) 2Samuel 22:47-49 The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation. It is God that avenges me, and that brings down the people under me. And that brings me forth from my enemies: you also have lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: you have delivered me from the violent man. (AKJV) Revelation 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are your ways, you King of saints. 2

(AKJV) Revelation 15:5-8 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. And one of the four beasts gave to the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the Glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. (AKJV) Leviticus 16:17 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goes in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel. (AKJV) Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightning, and voices, and thunder, and an earthquake, and great hail. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 31:16-19 And the LORD said to Moses, Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, where they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come on us, because our God is not among us? And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have worked, in that they are turned to other gods. Now therefore write you this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel. (AKJV) Daniel 9:4,5 And I prayed to the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from your precepts and from your judgments: (AKJV) Daniel 9:8-11 O Lord, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you. To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him; Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. Yes, all Israel have transgressed your law, even by departing, that they might not obey your voice; therefore the curse is poured on us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. (AKJV) Daniel 9:13,14 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come on us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand your truth. Therefore has the LORD watched on the evil, and brought it on us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he does: for we obeyed not his voice. 3

(AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:5 They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation. (AKJV) Philippians 2:14,15 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the middle of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world; (HNV) Matthew 17:17 Yeshua answered, Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me. (AKJV) Acts 2:40,41 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added to them about three thousand souls. (HNV) Deuteronomy 32:5 They have dealt corruptly with him. They are not his children, because of their defect. They are a perverse and crooked generation. (HNV) John 8:41-43 "You do the works of your father." They said to him, We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God. Therefore Yeshua said to them, If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven t come of myself, but he sent me. Why don t you understand my speech? Because you can t hear my word. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:6 Do you thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he your father that has bought you? has he not made you, and established you? (AKJV) Genesis 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, (HNV) Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray you: Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be your name. (HNV) Deuteronomy 32:7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you. (HNV) Deuteronomy 32:15-18 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: you are waxen fat, you are grown thick, you are covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. They sacrificed to devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Of the Rock that begat you you are unmindful, and have forgotten God that formed you. 4

(AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:20,21 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very fraudulent generation, children in whom is no faith. They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. (AKJV) Romans 11:11,12 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come to the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness? (AKJV) Romans 10:19,20 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses said, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you. But Esaias is very bold, and said, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest to them that asked not after me. (AKJV) Jeremiah 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come to you from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. (HNV) Jeremiah 6:16-19 Thus says the LORD, Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, Where is the good way? and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it. I set watchmen over you, saying, Listen to the sound of the shofar! But they said, We will not listen! Therefore hear, you nations, and know, congregation, what is among them. Hear, earth! Behold, I will bring evil on this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:26,27 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men: Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD has not done all this. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:35,36 To me belongs vengeance and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come on them make haste. For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:41,42 If I whet my glittering sword, and my hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my enemies, and will reward them that hate me. I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges on the enemy. (AKJV) Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 5

(AKJV) Revelation 19:17,18,21 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the middle of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God; That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat on the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. (AKJV) Ezekiel 39:17 And, you son of man, thus said the Lord GOD; Speak to every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat flesh, and drink blood. (AKJV) Ezekiel 39:20-22 Thus you shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, said the Lord GOD. And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. (AKJV) Ezekiel 39:23,24 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done to them, and hid my face from them. (AKJV) Ezekiel 39:28,29 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them to their own land, and have left none of them anymore there. Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit on the house of Israel, said the Lord GOD. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:43 Rejoice, O you nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful to his land, and to his people. (HNV) Romans 15:8-12 Now I say that Messiah has been made a servant of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers, and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, Therefore will I give praise to you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name. Again he says, Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people. Again, Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Let all the peoples praise him. Again, Isaiah says, There will be the root of Jesse, he who arises to rule over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles will hope. (AKJV) Revelation 19:1,2 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, to the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he has judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. 6

(AKJV) Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship before you; for your judgments are made manifest. (AKJV) Haggai 2:7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, said the LORD of hosts. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:44 And Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun. (AKJV) Deuteronomy 32:45-47 And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel: And he said to them, Set your hearts to all the words which I testify among you this day, which you shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing you shall prolong your days in the land, where you go over Jordan to possess it. (HNV) Acts 28:17-22 It happened that after three days Paul called together those who were the Jewish leaders. When they had come together, he said to them, I, brothers, though I had done nothing against the people, or the customs of our fathers, still was delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans, who, when they had examined me, desired to set me free, because there was no cause of death in me. But when the Judeans spoke against it, I was constrained to appeal to Caesar, not that I had anything about which to accuse my nation. For this cause therefore I asked to see you and to speak with you. For because of the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain. They said to him, We neither received letters from Judea concerning you, nor did any of the brothers come here and report or speak any evil of you. But we desire to hear from you what you think. For, as concerning this sect, it is known to us that everywhere it is spoken against. (HNV) Jeremiah 14:8 You hope of Israel, its Savior in the time of trouble, why should you be as a foreigner in the land, and as a wayfaring man who turns aside to stay for a night? (HNV) Jeremiah 17:13 LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you shall be disappointed. Those who depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living waters. (HNV) Acts 28:23 When they had appointed him a day, many people came to him at his lodging. He explained to them, testifying about the Kingdom of God, and persuading them concerning Yeshua, both from the Torah of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening. (HNV) Acts 28:24-28 Some believed the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved. When they didn t agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had spoken one word, The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah, the prophet, to our fathers, saying, Go to this people, and say, in hearing, you will hear, but will in no way understand. In seeing, you will see, but will in no way perceive. For this people s heart has grown callous. Their ears are dull of hearing. Their eyes they have closed. Lest they should see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, and I would heal them. Be it known therefore to you, that the salvation of God is sent to the nations. They will also listen. 7
