Ladies Choir this Sunday Vicki Burkett will be leading the Ladies choir for our worship service this Sunday. She would love to fill the choir loft with ladies singing God s praise. Plan to be part of the Ladies Choir this Sunday. 5 th Sunday Celebration is coming up April 29 th at 6:00pm. We need folks to sign up to share after the pot-luck supper. You may share something funny or serious, sacred or secular, music or spoken word, a great story, some creative movement (dance) This will be a wonderful time of enjoying the creative gifts of those in our congregation. Give me a call so I can put your name on the list and plan the program. Looking forward to having a great night together. MISSION on the MOVE. Call the church office with your reservation TODAY! Join churches in SW Virginia, CBFVA and CBF for an exciting evening of mission immersion as we explore Familia (Ephesians 3:14-19), Latino culture and how you can minister with those around you. On Thursday April 26, we will load the coach and travel to Roanoke for this meeting. The cost is only $5 (for evening meal). We would love to have you join us! The coach will depart at 3:00pm and we should return home around 10:15pm. We will be delivering our Mission Books bookbags that have been filled by our WMU circles. Call the church office to put your name on the list for this unique mission immersion/worship experience. Go to www.missiononthemove.me for more information. I hope we can fill the coach! So that the church in Roanoke can make preparations we must make our reservations this week. Gifts for the Piano Restoration Fund continue to be received. Thank you. We have received $5,035 and have pledges for an additional $2,500. We have surpassed our initial funding goal ($7,500) so we will schedule and begin the work on the Steinway grand piano in the choir room. Please give as the Lord leads. The total needed to complete the project (including refinishing the piano cabinet) is approximately $10,500. If you would like to make a contribution to the project, please direct your designated gifts to the Piano Restoration Fund. I would be happy to discuss the project with you, answer your questions and be most grateful for your support. See you Sunday, singing God s song. Parke
