CALLED BY GOD Gathering Song Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven Praise, my soul, the King of heaven, To His feet Thy tribute bring; Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, Who, like me, His praise should sing? O Praise Him, O praise Him, Praise the Everlasting King. Praise Him for His grace and favor To our fathers in distress; Praise Him, still the same for ever, Slow to chide, and swift to bless; O Praise Him, O praise Him, Glorious in His faithfulness. Father-like, He tends and spares us; Well our feeble frame He knows; In His hands He gently bears us, Rescues us from all our foes. O Praise Him, O praise Him, Widely as His mercy goes. Welcome & Call to Worship Psalm 63:1-5 Leader: You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. All: I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. Leader: I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. All: I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

Song of Praise Arise and Sing There is a King, a risen King, Radiant, He reigns in majesty. He conquered death, it has no sting, And at His word we will rise and sing. Arise, we will arise and sing Arise, we will arise and sing Come awake, rise from the ground, Open your eyes and see what you have found. Come awake, oh you who sleep, Search no more, for He is all we need. Beautiful, beautiful, There is not one, there is not one, who is so beautiful. How Great Thou Art Oh Lord my God when I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made. I see the stars. I hear the rolling thunder. Thy power throughout the universe displayed. Then sings my soul my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art. How great Thou art. Then sings my soul my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art. How great Thou art. And when I think that God, His Son not sparing Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation To take me home what joy shall fill my heart. And I shall bow in humble adoration And there proclaim my God how great Thou art.

CLEANSED BY GOD Prayer of Renewal Corporate Confession of Sin Gracious and forgiving God hear our confession We acknowledge that we are sinners and we confess ours sinsthose known to us that burden our hearts, and those unknown to us but seen by you. We know that before you nothing remains hidden, and in you everything is revealed. Gracious and forgiving God hear our request. Free us from the slavery of sin; liberate us from the bondage of guilt; work in us that which is pleasing in your sight; for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. ** time for silent confession ** Words of Forgiveness God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in [Jesus], and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Colossians 1:19-20 Passing of the Peace

CELEBRATING GOD Hallelujah to My King O how strong the power of Jesus' Name, It is stronger than any other name. How sweet the victory that bore my shame, Took the burden of my sin away. Hallelujah, what a Savior! I owe everything to Him. Hallelujah, what a Savior! Hallelujah to my King! O how great the kindness our God has shown, We were strangers now we're called His own. His grace has welcomed the sinner home, Tender mercies lead us to the throne. O what peace the Spirit of Jesus brings, Through the trials He will carry me. One day in Heaven our eyes will meet, Filled with wonder, all the saints will sing Rescue You are the source of life, I can't be left behind. No one else will do, I will take hold of You. 'Cause I need You Jesus to come to my rescue, Where else can I go? There's no other name by which I am saved, Capture me with grace; I will follow You. I will follow You, this world has nothing for me, I will follow You.

CHANGED BY GOD Prayer of Renewal Scripture Reading John 6:1-15 17 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. 18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. 19 When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. 20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, Friend, your sins are forgiven. 21 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone? 22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 23 Which is easier: to say, Your sins are forgiven, or to say, Get up and walk? 24 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. So he said to the paralyzed man, I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home. 25 Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God. 26 Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, We have seen remarkable things today. Sermon- Todd Jones Series: Jesus, In the World & For the World Title: Miracles Take Sweat Q & A

SENT BY GOD Offering Sending Song O Church Arise O church, arise and put your armor on; hear the call of Christ our captain; For now the weak can say that they are strong in the strength that God has given. With shield of faith and belt of truth we ll stand against the devil s lies; An army bold whose battle cry is Love!, reaching out to those in darkness. Our call to war, to love the captive soul, but to rage against the captor; And with the sword that makes the wounded whole we will fight with faith and valor. When faced with trials on ev ry side, we know the outcome is secure, And Christ will have the prize for which He died an inheritance of nations. Come, see the cross where love and mercy meet, as the Son of God is stricken; Then see His foes lie crushed beneath His feet, for the Conqueror has risen! And as the stone is rolled away, and Christ emerges from the grave, This vict ry march continues till the day ev ry eye and heart shall see Him. So Spirit, come, put strength in ev ry stride, give grace for ev ry hurdle, That we may run with faith to win the prize of a servant good and faithful. As saints of old still line the way, retelling triumphs of His grace, We hear their calls and hunger for the day when, with Christ, we stand in glory. Community Life Blessing & Sending Minister: Go now, knowing that all our God and Father asks of us, He provides through the power of His Spirit and through the work of His Son. All: Amen. Minister: Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. All: Thanks be to God.
