15. So when they took him and agreed to put him the bottom the well. But We spired to him, `Surely, you will form them (someday) this affair while they do perceive.` 16. And they came to their father early at night weepg. 17. They said, `O our father! Indeed, we went racg each other and we left with our possessions, and the wolf ate him. But you will believe us, even if we are truthful.` 18. And they brought with false blood on it. He (Yaqub) said, `Nay, your souls have enticed you to somethg, so patience is beautiful. And Allah is the One sought for help agast which you describe.` 19. And there came a caravan, and they sent their water drawer then he let down his bucket. `O good news! This is a boy.` And they hid him as a merchandise. And Allah is All-Knower they did. 20. And they sold him for a very low price, a few dirhams, and they were, him, those keen to give up. 21. And the one Egypt who bought him said to his wife, `Make his stay comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us or we will take him as a son.` And thus, ÎÏ-æÇ Ç 325 ÎÏ - ú  (the) bottom this affair, early at night racg each other But they put him `Surely, you will form them (to) their father the wolf. We established the land We might teach him the terpretations events. And Allah is Predomant over His affairs, most the mankd do know. 22. And when he reached his maturity, We gave him wisdom and knowledge. And thus We reward the good-doers. 23. And she, whose house he was, sought to seduce him. And she closed the doors and said, `Come on you.` `I seek refuge Allah. Indeed, he is my lord, who has made good my stay. Indeed, the wrongdoers will succeed.` 24. And certaly she did desire him and he would have desired her had he seen the pro his Lord. Thus (it was) We might avert him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was one Our scere slaves. 25. And they raced to the door, and she tore the back, and they both found her husband at the door. She said, `What is the recompense one who tended evil for your wife except he be imprisoned or a paful punishment?` 26. `She sought to seduce me.` And a witness ÎÏ-æÇ Ç 326 ÎÏ - ú  (the) terpretation most his maturity, 22 his self. Indeed, him, he reached the good-doers. my stay. you.` she did desire () his Lord. her family testified, `If is torn the front then she has spoken the truth, and he is the liars. 27. But if is torn the back, then she has lied and he is the truthful.` 28. So when he (i.e., her husband) saw torn the back, he said, `Indeed, it is your (i.e., women`s) plot. Indeed, your plot is great. 29., ignore this. And (O wife) ask forgiveness for your s. Indeed, you are the sful.` 30. And the women the city said, `The wife Aziz is seekg to seduce her slave boy; he has impassioned her with love. Indeed, we see her clear error.` 31. So when she heard their schemg, she sent for them and prepared a banquet for them and she gave each one them a knife and she said (to ), `Come out before them.` Then when they saw him, they greatly admired him and cut their hands and said, `Allah forbid! This is a man; this is none a noble angel.` 32. She said, ` is the one whom you blamed me. And I certaly sought to seduce him, he saved himself; and if ÎÏ-æÇ Ç 327 ÎÏ - ú  the front [is] But if the truthful.` `Indeed, it turn away Aziz (is) he said,, are 26 `The wife and he he has impassioned her 30 for them `Come out their hands, an angel him. and if clear.` (is) torn the liars. he will do I order him, surely he will be imprisoned and will be those who are disgraced.` 33. `My Lord, prison is dearer to me than to which they vite me. And unless You do turn away their plot me, I might cle towards them and be the ignorant.` 34. So his Lord responded to him, and turned away him their plot. Indeed, He is All-Hearer, All- Knower. 35. Then it appeared to them they had seen the signs, they should surely imprison him for a time. 36. And two young men entered with him the prison. One them said, `Indeed, I see myself ( a dream) pressg we.` And the other said, `Indeed, I see myself carryg bread over my head which the birds were eatg. Inform us its terpretation; deed, we see you the good-doers.` 37. `The food which you are provided will come to you I will form you its terpretation before it comes to you. is my Lord has taught me. Indeed, I abandon the religion a people who do believe Allah and are disbelievers the Here. ÎÏ-æÇ Ç 328 ÎÏ - ú  and certaly will be surely, he will be imprisoned to me (is) dearer the prison `My Lord, their plot So responded He [] 35 `Indeed, I me 33 Indeed, [He] a time. to them one them, [I] see myself Inform us 36 it. until You turn away the ignorant.` their plot. Said (it) appeared And unless him Then 32 and [I] be I order him, to it. he does those who are disgraced.` they vite me towards them and turned away 34 surely they should imprison him `Indeed, I the birds the good-doers.` you are provided with [it] comes to both you. 38. And I follow the religion my forefathers, Ibrahim, Ishaq, and Yaqub. And it was for us to associate anythg with Allah. is the Grace Allah upon us and upon the mankd. But most the men are grateful. 39. O my two companions the prison! Are many separate lords better or Allah the One, the Irresistible? 40. You do worship besides Him only names which you have named them, you and your forefathers, for which Allah has sent down any authority. The command is for none Allah. He has commanded you worship none Him. is the right religion, most men do know.` 41. O two companions the prison! As for one you, he will pour we for his master; and as for other, he will be crucified, and the birds will eat his head. The matter has been decreed which you quire.` 42. And he said to the one whom he thought would be saved, `Mention me to your master.` But the Shaitaan made him forget the mention to his master, ÎÏ-æÇ Ç 329 ÎÏ - ú  Ibrahim, any the mankd () my forefathers, with Allah and upon O my two companions the One names Allah, (has) sent down He has commanded the right, O two companions we; his head. And he said `Mention me (to) his master, we associate or 38 upon us, (the) religion grateful. better beside Him for Allah. (to) his master for us And I follow () Allah and your forefathers, (is) the religion the birds 41 40 (are) was (the) Grace separate you worship (is) the command know. he will give drk and will eat you both quire.` both them, (the) mention you 37 and Yaqub. (is) () the men Him Alone. Are lords 39 (are) disbelievers. most and Ishaq thg. () the prison! the Irresistible? which you have named them, authority. (do) one you he will be crucified, (would be) saved the Shaitaan which he any for it you worship [the] men As for the matter he thought But made him forget the other Allah most () the prison! and as for Has been decreed to the one whom your master.` Surah 12: (v. 38-42) Part - 12 to
so he () stayed prison several years. 43. And the kg said, `Indeed, I have seen ( a dream) fat cows beg eaten by ( were) lean, and green ears ( corn) and others ( were) dry. O chiefs! Expla to me my vision, if you can terpret visions.` 44. They said, `Confused dreams, and we are learned the terpretation dreams.` 45. But the one who was freed, remembered a period, said, `I will form you its terpretation, so send me forth. 46., O the truthful one! Expla to us the fat cows beg eaten by lean ones, and green ears ( corn) and others ( were) dry, I may return to the people so they may know.` 47. He () said, `You will sow for years, as usual; and which you reap leave its ears, except a little which you will eat. 48. Then,, will come hard years, which will consume ÎÏ-æÇ Ç 330 ÎÏ - ú  eatg them dry. visions we the one who 42 and other and you can [I] will form you the truthful one! eatg them green the people (for) its ears will come But said to O fat, years. green, dreams, `I fat 44 if cows a period, ears ( corn) `You will sow so leave it Then return 47 (which will) consume several ears ( corn) my vision `Confused learned. 45 cows you reap the prison [I] have seen They said, and () the dreams `Indeed, I Expla to me and remembered and I may 46 so send me forth. (the) and which you (will) eat. hard (years) lean ones, 43 so he remaed chiefs! the kg, O terpret.` (are) the terpretation the two lean ones, dry, know.` which was saved its terpretation as usual, Expla to us and other so they may a little years, except Surah 12: (v. 43-48) Part - 12
you advanced (i.e., saved) for them, except a little which you will store. 49. Then,, will come a year which the people will be given abundant ra and which they will press (juice, oil, etc).` 50. And the kg said, `Brg him to me.` But when the messenger came to him, he () said, `Return to your lord and ask him is the case the women who cut their hands. Indeed, my Lord is All-Knower their plot.` 51. He (the kg) said, `What was your affair when you sought to seduce?` They (women) said, `Allah forbid! We do know any evil him.` The wife Aziz said, `Now the truth is manifest. I sought to seduce him, and surely, he is the truthful. 52. he may know I did betray him secret, and Allah does guide the plan the betrayers.` ÎÏ-æÇ Ç 331 ÎÏ - ú  you (will) store. a year they will press.` But when your lord, who to (is) All-Knower.` and it `Brghim to me.` you sought to seduce Said the truth. `Return () the women `Allah forbid! and deed, he he may know Allah 52 their plot (is) manifest and when evil.` a little the people he said, except the kg, (is the) case my Lord (was) your affair They said, himself, `Now secret, () the betrayers.` 51 any will come for them, Then will be given abundant ra the messenger, Indeed, `What himself?` him () Aziz, their hands. you advanced 48 49 it came to him and ask him sought to seduce him the truthful.
