BROCHURE 'Let's make a difference' (LMAD) is an annual youth conference held at Asia Plateau, Panchgani and is running successfully since 1994. Young people from all walks of life and from all across the country are welcome. A dedicated youth organizing team comes to Asia Plateau year after year to coordinate this conference. What brings them time and again to this place is an idea called Initiatives of Change (IofC). Youth today are being pulled in all directions by the media, parents and peers. Which path to take seems to be the question on each young mind? Absence of clear role models and shifting moral values makes this question even more complex. I o f C b e l i e v e s i n h o n e s t y, p u r i t y, unselfishness and love. At the base of these core values is the 'Quiet Time' that focuses on listening to one's own conscience. Philosophy of IofC challenges a young mind to live by these ethical values. It may sound outdated, yet at the end one feels equipped to live by these values which is the beginning of change. So, make your rendezvous with IofCLMAD and join the movement which is inspiring thousands of youth across the country. Read the Stories of Change of past coordinators/volunteers/participants to get a glimpse of what happens at LMAD here: www.lmad.in/stories-of-change.php Important Details Conference will be inaugurated at 4:00 pm on 1 June and will conclude at 1.00 pm on 8 June.
