60 DAY PRAYER GUIDE 2013 The following is a 60-day prayer guide designed to begin eight weeks before your group leaves for Falls Creek. Day 1 should be on a Thursday, and day 60 should be on a Sunday. For example: Week 1 start on April 4 Week 2 start on April 11 Week 3 start on April 18 Week 4 start on April 25 Week 5 start on May 2 Week 6 start on May 9 Week 7 start on May 16 Week 8 start on May 23 Each prayer request is written from the perspective of one preparing for the movement of God at Falls Creek. These requests can be prayed by students, leaders, and church members alike. 60 Pray for the youth leaders as they prepare for camp. Ask God to prepare them and give them opportunities to minister effectively at camp. 59 Ask God to meet all the needs (physical strength, emotional patience, spiritual rest, relational peace, etc.) of the Falls Creek Staff. Spend some time evaluating your life. Ask God what your spiritual needs are and then surrender those needs to Him. 58 Pray for the Falls Creek Youth Ministry Executive Staff: Andy Harrison, Todd Sanders, Norman Flowers, Heather Hughes, Kacie Potts, Heather Martin, Cory Sams, and Michael Davis. Pray that God will give them wisdom for all of the many daily decisions. Also, seek God s wisdom for the decisions you face today. 57 Pray for those who are coming to Falls Creek who do not know Christ. Pray that the Holy Spirit would work in their lives and show them their need for the Savior. Give thanks to God for the relationship you have with Him because of Christ Jesus. 56 Come before God and ask Him to provide safety for those participating in our Ropes Course and Challenge elements throughout the week at camp. Ask that God would use these camp venues to minister truth to someone s life. 55 Pray for Adult Leadership Investment (A time of youth leader training at camp). Pray that God would encourage the sponsors of groups to be challenged and encouraged with new information. 54 Pray for the invitation times each evening at Falls Creek. Ask God to remove any distractions during these critical times. Ask God to prepare hearts to answer yes to whatever He asks, no matter what the cost. 53 Ask God for a growing sense of unity and love within your youth group. Search God and ask Him how you can be a tool in this request.

52 Pray for the Falls Creek Office Staff. Pray that as they do unnoticed tasks, they will be blessed. Pray that they would serve others in a way that honors God. 51 Pray for wisdom and skill for the leadership that is planning and preparing for future needs at Falls Creek. Ask God to touch the hearts of people who could give financially to these projects. 50 Ask God to give strength and endurance to the Falls Creek Conference Center Staff as they serve, prepare, and maintain the camp. : James Swain, Bill Bergstrom, Don Brown, Chad Fielding, Kayla Tonihka, and Ashley Flowers. Ask God to send volunteers to serve in various ways this summer at camp. 49 Lift up those who are coming to Falls Creek who are complacent and hypocritical Christians. Pray that they would leave with a longing for God like they have never known. On a personal note, search your heart for areas of complacency. Ask God to give you a desire for Him that reflects His desire for you. 48 Pray that God would empower and speak through the person(s) who will teach the morning Bible study in your cabin. Pray that ears will be attuned to the Holy Spirit and hearts will allow God to speak to them during these times. 47 Pray for the recreation time. Pray for the safety of your group. Pray they have fun and enjoy Falls Creek. Take time today to reflect on the fun you have in God s presence. 46 Be still before God and pray for the evening cabin devotions. Ask that it would be an intimate time for your group as they seek the Father. Ask God to reveal Himself to students in new ways during their personal devotions. 45 Pray for your church s Falls Creek leadership. Pray that they will be renewed and refreshed with the gospel. Pray that they will communicate God s words and heart. Pray they would be a daily blessing to someone by communicating God s love for them. 44 Pray for the BCM directors as they lead the Next Chapter for high school seniors. Ask God that these students who are going off to college remain close to Him. 43 Come to God with a desperate heart today, asking Him to pierce through calloused hearts at Falls Creek. Pray that God would speak clearly to students who do not care to listen to God at Falls Creek. Reflecting on your life, ask God to reveal any areas of your heart that have grown hard and resistant to the Holy Spirit. 42 Ask God to move in a mighty way during Quiet Times at camp. Pray that your group would experience God, and they would continue to be in awe of his presence. Evaluate the time you spend alone with God today. Ask Him to fill you with his presence. 41 Lift up the worship leaders as they prepare to lead campers in worship each day. Pray that students and leaders would evaluate their private worship, remembering worship is a way of life, not an event. 40 Pray for the Concessions Staff. Ask God to give them strength and patience as they help make camp a fun experience. Pray that they would greet customers with a smile and brighten someone s day. Take time to have fun with God today yourself. Include Him in everything you do and enjoy His fellowship. 39 Thank God for your Sponsors and all of the hard work they will be doing. Pray that throughout the week of camp, they would be refreshed with the gospel. Pray today that you will be refreshed with the gospel. 38 Pray for the Morning Experience in the Tabernacle. Pray that the leaders would focus hearts on the Father for the remainder of the day. Pray that minds would be set on Him as soon as eyes are opened each day, and that campers would see the difference He can make in a day.

37 Ask God to make Falls Creek about Him. Pray groups will draw close to him not only during camp, but for the rest of their lives. Personally, find the things in your life that distract you from him. Pray that God would take those distractions away. 36 Pray for those who disciple our Falls Creek Staff. Pray they would be refreshed daily. Ask today that God would show you one student who you should invest in this summer. 35 Pray that your church group will learn how to share their faith at camp. Pray that they will want to share their faith and be bold at their schools. Ask God to give your group a burden for the lost. 34 Pray for the Technical Staff as they serve God by doing all the necessary, but unnoticed tasks. Ask God to make you aware of those serving behind the scenes. When He does, give a word of thanks and appreciation. 33 Thank God for all the people who helped provide the new Tabernacle, Wynn Center for World Missions and Mission Prayer Park at Falls Creek. Ask God to bless them for their faithfulness. Ask God to continue calling students to missions at Falls Creek. 32 Come before God asking for good weather. Sometimes God uses His creation to teach us. Take time to see if God is trying to teach you something today through His creation. 31 Ask God to guide the Medical Staff as they serve. Evaluate if there are any parts of your spiritual life that are sick. If so, then come before God and ask Him to heal it. 30 Ask God to meet the needs of the students who are going to Falls Creek with your group. Pray that they will find His grace sufficient for them. Examine your heart today; is his grace sufficient for you? 29 Pray for the people helping with the invitation. Ask God to give them wisdom as they help those that respond to the invitation. Pray that the harvest will be abundant. 28 Pray for those who could not come to Falls Creek. Ask God to reveal Himself to them. Remember to pray for them throughout the week your group is scheduled for camp. 27 Pray that students would come to experience the sufficiency of God in their lives. Pray that they would be consumed with knowing him and making him known. 26 Pray that our missions team would effectively communicate how God s glory is being spread throughout the world. Ask God to give you a larger perspective of Christianity and show you how you fit into His plans to spread His message across the globe. 25 Pray for the Missions Village. Pray that it will be an effective way to share God s heart for the nations. Pray that students will respond to God s call. Pray that God would begin to break students hearts for the nations. 24 Read the Falls Creek theme passage (Jeremiah 33:3). Reflect on this passage and thank God that we are able to go to Him in prayer. 23 Pray for the security and the Courtesy Crew. Pray that they would be blessed for their service to your group and others at camp. Pray that they would serve others in a way that would honor God. 22 Pray for the students who will visit the skate park at camp. Pray for their safety, and pray the staff will be able to minister to

them in a unique way. 21 Thirty percent of the students who attend Falls Creek admit that back home they consume alcohol. Pray they will see and better understand God s presence this week, and that He might break any sin pattern in their lives. 20 Ask God to work during the times of the Late Night Missions. Pray that He would place a burden on the heart of students to reach the nations for knowing Him. Ask God today to give you a burden for a particular people group. Pray for them today. 19 Pray students will prioritize their relationship with God more than any other relationship. Pray that they will encounter God in a way that will change their lives. Ask God to help them focus on Him more than the opposite sex during camp. 18 Pray for the 17% of students who admit they have used drugs in the past year. Pray that they would be convicted of their sin, and turn completely from it. 17 Ask God to work through strong peer relationships in your group. Pray that relationships would be strengthened, and that your group would work to hold each other accountable after camp. 16 Thank God for the sponsors and cooks He has provided for your group. Pray that God will bless them for their willingness to serve. Remember, we are all called to be servants. Ask God to give you a servant s heart today. 15 Pray for the students in your group who have grown apathetic about God. Pray that God would ignite in them a passion for Him.. 14 Ask God to give your sponsors rest at camp. Pray that they would be blessed for their service. Pray today that they would honor God with their time, remembering to spend valuable time with Him. 13 Lift up the Pastor Leadership Dialogue (a time of pastoral training at camp). Pray that pastors can share ideas and talk about needs with other pastors. Pray that God would give them new and fresh ideas for ministry. 12 Lift up the evening speakers. Pray that God will allow them to say only His words and to communicate His heart effectively. Today, meditate on the character of God. Ask that the words of your mouth would match the meditation of your heart. 11 Pray for students to have open ears and an open heart throughout the evening service. Pray for students who you know are not believers. Pray they will openly respond to the gospel. Pray that God would place those students names on your heart now. 10 Pray for the students who you do not know well who are going to Falls Creek with your group. Pray that you will be given the chance to meet them, minister to them and get to know them better. 9 Pray for the missionaries at Falls Creek. Pray that they would be encouraged by believers, and that they would be sensitive to the Holy Spirits calling on their life. 8 Pray God would work in the lives of students at Falls Creek who do not know him. Ask God that these students would be obedient when they hear Him. 7 Pray that God would speak directly to your group at Falls Creek. Pray that members in your group will have a heart of obedience to take a leap of faith. Pray that many will hear the calling of God on their life.

6 Lift up your youth leaders as they are putting final touches on your group s week at Falls Creek. Pray that God would refine their walk with him. 5 Lift up your church today. Pray that while leaders are gone at Falls Creek, something great happens back home as well. Ask that God would use you today to show his works to someone in your life. 4 Pray today that God will do something big in your group during Falls Creek. Ask God today to give you a heart of obedience. 3 Lift up the sponsor s families this week that will be separated from them while at camp. Pray that God does something big in their life this week at home. Ask God today to prepare you to minister to others. 2 Ask God to provide safety for all the groups as they travel to and from Falls Creek. Pray for the Falls Creek Staff as they prepare for their arrival at camp. 1 Pray that you would be open this week to the plans God has for your life. Ask God to do something in your life this week that will change the direction of the rest of your life.
